funny that the people that think Rodgers sucks the most are members of this forum :rotf:
Aaron Rodgers is just past his prime. There are no hats to pull rabbits out of anymore. He needs an exceptional team around him to be successful now. We're now the 89ers and have to do something about it before it gets any worse. Lambeau will be a much happier place to be once the incessant booing stops.

Oh by the way ............. the NY metro area is over-rated. And the East Rutherford Giants led by RB Barkley are still the fan favorite over the Florham Park Jets.
no way is Barkley a bigger draw then Rodgers, your letting your hatred cloud your judgement, we could have had more UFA interest but the word is out that we keep a tight wallet, or more so that we wont over pay, that is the main reason and we've even heard that from UFA that we didn't get to ink a deal here, and plenty of players that left, the studs want more then just a fair deal, like it or don't thats just the way it is

I have no idea what the compensation will be for Rodgers, lots of variables involved, like is it a 1, 2, or 3 year deal the Jets want, also whos getting stuck with dead money and how much, that will affect what the Jets will give us, but either way Rodgers isn't even close to being as dilapidated as you and others are acting as though he is, you have a personal dislike for him I get that, but give him a little time with some quality receivers and he'll be slinging it like he was a couple years ago
:rotf: Nope......no "hate" in Ringo. Just some serious "disgust" sometimes though.

Nope, 3:30 in it all falls apart for Tom and he proves he is very ignorant of the entire situation. IT didn't sound right even to start, then he spiraled down the toilet.

Gonna be pretty funny when we ship Rodgers and a bunch of those other older guys out because we're rebuilding, but then win the Super Bowl anyway because MLF has been an offensive genius the whole time and Rodgers' contributions actually made it worse.
Love who liked this post lol

Earlier this week I was all in for trading him and Bakh away. But then looking at this cake 2023 schedule maybe that should be re-thinked. Any snowballs chance the Packers could pick up Hopkins from the Cardinals, keep Rodg and Bakh and make another run at it? Or is this insanity coming out again. Yes ............ it's insanity coming out again.

Ship him out ............... I don't care where. And let him take his black tent with him.

Yeah, let's mortgage even more of the future by adding even more expensive vets who will be gone in two years and set Love up for an even worse eventual debut (that's if he even sticks around to wait out all these "run it back" seasons) because the past 10 years of "running it back" have been soooooo successful. Yeah, let's do that. :aok: :aok:

ya he disgust me to, thing is I divorce that stuff from the football part, he is still one of the best QB's in the league, and I can't say that about Love at this point

No. I clicked a Lombardi and budfox had to comment on that because this place, like 2008 - 2010, is more about "who is right" then just talking about football and cheering for the Packers.

Overall I "liked" Texas's post because it was funny.

I actually felt better about yesterday being the day than today being the day. Just going off vibes. Not like news vibes. Just the vibe I got waking up.

Though I’m getting high and going to the aquarium today (strong recommend) so that does seem like the ideal time for news to break and need to miss it

Right now, the longer it draws out you have to think Rodgers retiring is a bigger possibility. I just don't think he really has the fire to play anymore. :idn:

…keeping in mind that the Packers are almost against a wall related to how much they can flex the money on their side. Guty needs to get a couple of FAs. He can’t do that if he pays all (or virtually all) of the $59M. Jets need to pay some. That is why we will not get a 1st out of this.

No way. These athletes are the ultimate competitors, and Rodgers looks like he still has ~2-3 years of viable QB1 play in the tank.

For one thing, he's on the cusp of a few pretty enticing stat records, such as the exclusive "500 TD" club. There is no doubt in my mind that Rodgers is aware of this and wants to be in that pantheon.

For two, he said he still thinks he has MVP season in him. tbh, I honestly think he plays for growing his legend with MVPs and other individual accolades even more than Lombardi trophies.

Three, I really doubt he wants to retire with Tom Brady and be in TB12's shadow.

Four and above all else, I just can't see him being content with the idea of sitting at home watching while his peers are out there basking in the glory of playing football, knowing he can be right there with them. These guys are the ultimate adrenaline junkies.

If Rodgers announces his retirement, I won't believe him, even if he sincerely believes himself. I will only begin to believe it if he stays retired well into midseason and is turning down calls from QB-needy teams.

I think Rodgers plays at least two more years of pro football.

Can we hold against Aaron Rodgers in the future the fact that he never did what Tom Brady did that is to voluntarily doing a cheaper deal to make his team able to sign free agents to become more competitive? I mean it seems he really sucked us out, could have easily granted 10 Mio. (out of the whole volume of the deal) while enhancing his SB (legacy!!!) chances.
