Well not at all surprising.

One guy still younger, free to negotiate with, can probably sign him to a modest contract, have him for 2 or 5 years or longer, will be your choice.

The other guy much better, but probably give you only 2 years, maybe even one, gunna cost your draft capital, and is going to be paid like a top QB. Only makes sense for a team ready to compete. Not many teams ready to compete have nothing at QB.

Just need Lamar to sign quick, then I literally would consider asking for an additional 2nd.

Yah, that’s an unrestricted open market price with a league wide shortage of QBs. Very telling on how this league views Jimmy.

Hope they don’t punt on rodgers and just offer the two 1s and give him the browns style guaranteed deal out of desperation.

Jimmy G owned Rodgers when they most recently faced each other in the playoffs. 2019 he had the better team, so that's whatever, but 2021 was an embarrassment, and if that wasn't enough to convince people, Rodgers out-Lion'd a Lions team with nothing to play for (thumb healed, btw) in a critical, must-win game. At Lambeau. In December. Making the exact same mistake that cost them the previous season.

Yeah Jimmy G is younger, will play next year, won't cost you picks, all that is true, but there is a bigger truth to come to terms with: Aaron Rodgers IS NOT GOOD. And most of the league is wise to it now.

Jets still want him because one year of mediocre QB play makes him a Top 5 QB in their team history; this team's fans have nostalgia for Favre and Sanchize. Carolina reportedly came calling, but they recently decide to make a big trade for the top QB prospect in the upcoming draft.

The emperor has no clothes.

Jets should start Wilson next year, tank tank tank, commit to suck and then draft Caleb Williams. Great outcome after a year of pain

The rest of that team is too talented to earn the top overall pick. Even with Wilson playing QB, they'd be a .500 team.

It’s funny how hard rodgers works to tell us all that no one knows what he’s thinking. Like we don’t care dude, literally just tell us what your thinking so we can all move on. Bye.

Just more of the same frustration and guess work like everywhere else.

Public not exactly voicing enthusiasm for Rodgers' delaying his decision:

Little panic mode it seems like.

No news really, just talking about all other possible QB's, Jameis, Kirk, Stafford, Lamar, Tannehill, who could possibly be had.

I think Rodgers can be P Manning with the Broncos. Get the right play called and don't turn it over. But it takes a Top 5 DEF to win with that. And AR doesn't look like he wants to evolve.
