Since 2000:

.788 when winning the turnover battle by any margin. Conversely, .212 when losing the turnover battle by any margin.

.676 when winning the turnover battle by 1. Conversely, .324 when losing the turnover battle by 1.

.832 when winning the turnover battle by 2. Conversely, .168 when losing the turnover battle by 2.

So, ya, I would say it is pretty important. Not sure if it is the most important, but has to be close.
What happens if a team is at home AND wins the TO battle?
If a home team loses the TO battle by -1, they have a win rate of .391.
If a home team wins the TO battle by 1, they have a win rate of .731.

I bet having a Special Teams touchdown has a big impact on W/L too.

Giving up a Kick Return+ since 2000 results in a .452 win percentage.
Giving up a Punt Return+ since 2000 results in a .320 win percentage.

What if the backup QB takes his jersey off the hanger only AFTER he has put on his cleats but BEFORE he gives the starting QB words of encouragement?

.750, but the sample is really really small, so not very reliable. ;)

This is a very cool stat - great reasoning why that Capers def / MM team was built to win turnover battles.

Has there been any Jordan Love news at all? Any comments on how he is doing? Assume he is running scout team.

I am very, very nervous at plugging #25 in the rest of the year.
me too. He's a liability

Packers announced:
S Henry Black signed to the active roster from the practice squad, December 8th

That covers the Safety and ST duties, now we need somebody who can handle the ILB duties and Barnes, Martin seem best fits

I would be more surprised if we would hear anything about Love until next mini camp and OTA's. And even that will be limited likely due to limited media access because of Covid.

My guess is we will see an article from Wes Hod about his year 1 story and his background and how he is more confident come in around spring time, but nothing real substantial. Maybe a quote or two from a coach talking about his progress and importance of still putting his head down and learning.

Our real shot at seeing Love will be training camp where we will get more tweets and hopefully he takes the jump like TBSL did last August.

But we really won't know anything until Preseason 2021.

My expectations for Love next year are still pretty low but I would like see him compete for that backup spot. Rodgers was honestly really, really bad in 2005. I posted his August video a while back of his preseason play.

2006 Rodgers took a pretty noticeable jump in August but did not do very good against the Pats in 2006. Yet again, Favre was bad that day too.

2007 August we knew we had someone. Didn't know how good yet but we knew we had something and this was confirmed at Dallas later that year.

didn't see this posted anywhere, while coach and GM where snubbed last year for Coch or GM of the year, they sure should be this year, specially Lafluer.

Just 12 games into his second season, LaFleur has already set the new franchise record for total wins in his first two seasons. He has 22 after Sunday’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles, breaking the previous record of 21 set by Mike McCarthy and Mike Sherman.

He's not winning it over Flores or Tomlin most likely.
