I bet neither of Lazard or Cobb is a Jet this season
Quoted for later reference.

If only Rodgers had Lazard and Cobb the last two seasons, he would have completed all of those deep bombs designed to fool the opposing defenses into thinking we'd actually throw to open WR's underneath!

One thing that really bothers me about Rodgers dictating who should be on the team is that it means another player(s) will not make the team that deserved a shot.

I’m on “Aaron Rodgers Tuesday” this morning. Of course, 12 hasn’t been on yet. But they are discussing all of it like they STILL don’t know a thing and they aren’t going to pressure Aaron when he is on.

They hint that Lazard to NY makes a LOT of sense with Hackett being there, even if 12 ends up not there. I agree. But I’d love to re-sign Lazard in GB.

One team negotiating with him and you think he’s getting 10?

In all fairness, Lazard isn't a bad 3rd WR and he's a great blocker. So if used right, it's a great pickup for the Jets with or without Rodgers.

Just hilarious in the grand scheme of the ridiculous argument happening.

Yep. If Jakobi Meyers just got $11m APY (3yr/$33mil; $21m guaranteed) then my forum credit bet says Lazard gets AT LEAST $10m/APY.

What's your guess?

Yup. Ya know, every team (sans the Raiders perhaps) will take as much as it will take. And I do think it’s clear that the Packers have crossed that line. More than just talent or decline or Love or anything else. Sometimes players become too much of a distraction. And I do agree about that.

what open receivers underneath, is this some sort of joke, if Lazard wasn't tripping over his own feet he might have gotten open, of course Rodgers isn't going to throw him the ball when he's all sprawled out on the grass, and Cobb was blanketed, Doubs kept dropping the ball, and Watson was hurt off and on, football 101, if ya can't pass short do to coverage, then ya pass deep to spread out the coverage, my 10 year old great grandson is well aware of how this stuff works, whats your excuse :)

Is Rodgers demanding NY sign his buddies or is NY doing this to entice a reluctant QB to sign with them?

I want him to be a nice young man, quit doing ayawaska, sleeping in isolation ( the guy needs a squeeze) and quit asking the Jets to sign his buddy's, if that is in fact whats holding up this trade.

seriously I thought I've been pretty clear, I still think Rodgers is the best QB the Packers have for possibly even the next 3 years, Gutekunst in his hurry to establish that the Packers are his team moved up to draft his own QB, and now has backed him into a corner, he has to start Love or lose him.

Sal there is no way I would have given Rodgers the 120 mil. contract that Murphy did in the off season of 2018 just before hiring Lafleur, he still had 2 years left on his prior deal.
