Packers have already exceeded their average point output of this season for an entire game.

So in a few threads we have talked about if the Packers have what it takes...I have been thinking that our offense actually does have what it takes. You could see them starting to gel and getting hot at the right time. It was the defense that I was worried about. Especially with Gary out all year.
That feeling is getting stronger and stronger.
The defense just is playing so much below the sum of its parts. Our inability to stop the run is absolutely disgusting.

Have we gotten sacked 3 of the last 4 pass plays?

Yup. And so now the OLine is stepping down when most others are stepping up.

Yeah, this if for me. Young team geling and progressing and getting healthy on O. Starting to see it in spurts, then you got MVP, I still contend enough talent on O to go where we want to go. D on the other hand. Just same old.

CBs get beat. It's part of the job. You think SJC would have stopped that? Bringing back Douglas was fine.

This is the “signs of life” that I”m talking about. But they need to learn how to put the offense together for an entire game; especially against a good team.

Getting real tired of LaCoach's complementary football baloney. He really should look in the mirror and shut up ... Duh.

It's exciting though becaue there is somehting to build on in 2023.
But this defene needs a new system. I think we have a lot of great talent in places on defense. But need a new system and new safeties.
Thing that boggles my mind the most is how leaky the front 7 is on the run. On paper...this should be a strength of ours.

The Eagles clearly have a good running offense. But our D is very, very, very, very, very bad against the run. No excuses.
