Over an hour watch? Egads.

Is there a cliff notes version?

I am like 40 mins in.

It is mostly review, at least for some who already have been living in this world for a while, but definitely a very solid recap/summary.

Worth the listen (unless the last 20 minutes really suck).

And guess I didn't get clarity on if Yosh Nijman is an RFA or ERFA this year.

I've kind of seen both, and like Andy Herman, have been under the impression he was an RFA, Ingalls thinks otherwise.

Might not seem like a big difference, but I think that decision essentially determines if he'll be on our roster next year.

That would make Lazard our only worth while RFA. Expensive to bring him back even on the right of first refusal tender, like $3 million. Jumps to like $4.5 (give or take, I forget) with the 2nd round tender.

Given we might not have like ANY WR's back, I think he is a big priority. I normally wouldn't worry too much, but talking about Hackett in Denver, Getsy in Chicago, and potentially Wojciechowski as GM in Pittsburgh, would just take one to bite with a 2 year 10 million offer and we couldn't touch that.

I think Ingalls is right. Not enough games in 2019 to count for an accrued season.
After playing four years at Virginia Tech, Nijman was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2019.[2] He was waived on August 31 and was signed to the practice squad the next day. On November 26, he was promoted to the active roster; however, on December 21, he was placed on injured reserve after suffering an elbow injury that would keep him out for the rest of the season.

I think just hammering home the relatability to every possible move in terms of the next possible move. There is no one thing that they can't do, but everything they choose to do has very real knock on consequences.

Also for the arm chair GM's who claim we can just do this or do that, the Za'Darius Smith case was very interesting. Getting back to last season where the Packers wanted to significantly lower his contract and he refused. We have to remember that, in some cases, in requires the player agreeing to these restructures.

I also think absent long-term extension for Rodgers before free agency, there is absolutely, plain and simple, not room to apply the franchise tag to Davante as we will need to carry Rodgers full $45M+ into the new league year before other cap gymnastics happen. Some will still disagree, but then take every in question contract there is and cut those guys, because that's what it will take. That is on top of the "easy" ones like restructuring Bak and Kenny.

I don't know why I was so surprised, I probably should not have been, but I had no idea that DeVondre Campbell was going to be turning 29 this year. I think that changes the outlook for him a bit in my eyes. It will be unpopular and it will hurt, but I think you have to let him walk.

Two or three year deal. But he will get a 4 year deal and big $$$ in FA.

I think he is a guy you set a price and years you are willing to pay for his services.

If he finds better on the open market, I wish him all the best and he deserves every penny.

But i agree, we are not in a position to chase after him given our situation, his age, and honestly his recent flash in the pan success.

I really hope we can bring him back on a contract that makes a lot of sense for us.

Using the super secret power of maths and this very scientific poll, here are the results and likelihood each player will be back.

Adrian Amos 93%
Alan Lazard 86%
Rasul Douglas 86%
DeVondre Campbell 79%
MVS 64%
Preston Smith 50%
Aaron Rodgers 43%
Robert Tonyan 43%
Billy Turner 36%
Davante Adams 36%
Lucas Patrick 29%
ZaDarius Smith 21%
Chandon Sullivan 14%
Mason Crosby 14%
Mercedes Lewis 14%
Randall Cobb 7%

Surprised Devondre is so high. Given we actually have to resign him without cap space, vs. just not cutting him like a few others.
