Gutey may be having a rebirth now that Rodgers is gone. I'm getting excited to see the new offense mature.

Shoot. I would have gone with Gervon Dexter instead.

Things we are never privy to.

He has bad tape and really poor COD.

He is a 4th round project.

Yeah Reed was really popular from people watching film. He just tested terrible so didn't get a lot of attention.
Yeah, he's been raved about by people on podcasts I listen to throughout the process..... until the testing. They didn't trash him; he just disappeared.

Obvi, I prefer a bigger guy. I've been clear on that. But we literally went TE/quick-separation slot receiver just like people wanted and some people still aren't happy.

Well Gutey can obviously do no right.

I like him because he's one of the few really clear 5-tech options. But lupe is right that he is knocked for being late off the snap. That sounds coachable and correctable, but Cynthia Freiland's analytics with NextGen stats says that quickness off the snap is one of the most translatable skills.

So there are reasons to be pessimistic, in addition to his reputation for questionable judgement.

I like chatting with my dad during the draft. But doing it over text is making me miss most of what's happening! Should just get him on the phone.

If the Packers were to throw in their two fifths and a sixth, they could move back into the second round at about No. 59.

Hope we trade up quick, just so we don’t have the cursed 3rd rounder.

MIMS BEFORE HYATT! I feel full vindication right now.

Hyatt in round 3 is probably the right value. Now that we're there, I officially withdraw my hate.

You wanna get him next? Still a ways before we pick again. But we could probably use another WR.

Honestly with Reed, Toure, and Melton on the squad, we actually NEED more size.

I still like three guys A LOT....

Tillman
Xavier Hutchinson
Iosivas (the most)

There's still Michael Wilson who is excellent when not made of glass
Would be interesting to see what MLF does with Elijah Higgins (WR? H-back? FB?)

Oh I bet they'll take Wicks; who is slow but a fan favorite for some reason (I mean he hits all Packers thresholds and could carve out a James Jones career in ideal circumstances)

Late options?
Matt Landers
CJ Johnson--love CJ Johnson in the 7th. Slower Mingo with character and injury concerns; risk/reward
