BTW, it looks like Washington decided on a new football team name.

It will be the Washington Commanders.
that names kinda cool tbh

I liked "The Football Team" best because it was funny

but out of the other options, commanders is cool

They can't even reveal their name correctly.

Seeing more and more rumors about Brady leaning towards retirement.

This would actually be a nice offseason for it to happen if we are looking to trade a QB.

I don't hate it. Better than Red Hogs, Brigade, or Armada. But I'm weird, I don't like team names without an 's' on the end.

Sounds like an arena football name. Always the REDSKINS to me.

Maybe we could trade him to Tampa and get Godwin and one of their Linebackers in return, lol

Godwin is a free agent with an ACL recovery on his plate.

I shook my head when I saw the Chiefs signed him, because they just don't care what type of guys are on the team. And just like that he's gone. What a moron.

To be fair, Simmons made a big mistake and raised huge red flags, but by all accounts has walked the line in Tennessee since arriving in the NFL.

Apparently.

It’s being discussed in the more specific “QB Carousel” thread.

I read about it at the time and it seemed provoked, bad, but his sister was taking a beating, in all other respects Simmons seemed a fine person.

you guys know I like players that fit our needs, Simmons fit those more then Gary, same with Fant and other receivers, basically Gary our 12 slotter sat for most of two seasons, Simmons didn't, and Simmons would have helped us a ton stopping the 49ers from gashing us for 200 yrds rushing in that PO game we lost.

Simmons didn't help stop the run when Dillon made his NFL debut as a starter against him. To date, that was Dillon's most dominant performance, and he did it as a rookie.

Why read about it and make guesses when you can watch?

I will forever remain glad this POS isn’t on our team.

Yep, that video completely destroys the whole "provoked, just defending my poor sister" narrative.
