'Went to the game yesterday, very fun time! :) 'Glad they got a win too because they lost the only other time I saw them and I didn't want to be a curse haha.

Going to June 8 against Orioles.
Didn’t get the win but hopefully a good time…?

Pretty good. Stadium seemed small. Was on 3rd base side so it was in the sun and hot, 6th row. $8 for a brat. Something to do every few years.

Swept at home by the historically bad A's. This Brewers team doesn't have any heart.

Wonder when Counsel's seat gets hot?

A's have won 7 in a row now. Going on a bit of a run in protest of getting shipped off to Vegas. But yeah, we suck right now.

Shouldn't be. I think he's doing the best he can with what he's got. Arnold hasn't moved this team forward since he took over as GM.

A professional conference for my field was in Milwaukee, I drove down today and Thursday (had presentation thurs). Today after the conference part was a social tour of Am Fam Field (Miller Park). Was hoping it would include seeing their sports science areas (considering the nature of the conference) but it didn't. Still some interesting things were included, like going in the bullpen and dugout. The wife of one of my former students is a senior sports scientist for Brewers (he is the same for A's), just saw her briefly and said hello.

Just lost 3 straight to the Braves UGH. Next up the lowly Nats. Orioles have become amazing. Go Figure.

Braves have the best record in the league, so no shame in losing to them really. Did fall back out of first. They need to find some more help before the trade deadline, another bat. Getting Woodruff back on the mound will hopefully help.

Yep, absolutely.

Hate to say it but I think Adames' time has passed. Love him in the dugout, great all-around guy, but he has become an albatross at the plate. You need something from his position and he just isn't providing.

They grabbed some guy from the Mets. Sounds like he'll play RF a bunch. Sounded like he had a decent bat, but his stats aren't really jumping off the page.

Traded away Luis Urias to Boston for some Class A starting pitcher. Glad to have gotten something for him. Also got LP Andrew Chafin for the bullpen from Arizona for Strzelecki. That's a good swap, needed another lefty. Overall, not a bad haul. No big names but some players who can contribute both now and potentially in the future.

I'll take the new first baseman Carlos Santana over Rowdy Tellez anyday.

Just lost 3-2 to the lowly Nats. Pathetic.
