Only 2 people over 2
And yet people, year after year, obsess over the amount of yards that guys like Mahomes, Brees, and Stafford throw. I'll take the guy who throws more TDs regularly.
 :rotf:

Payton and Bree's are stat padders, they'd be up 3 scores and firing 40 yrd passes hoping to pile up more points, Not sure if Andy will do that with Mahomes, but if so he'll probably amass some very high yardage and points totals in his career, we've rarely seen much of that with McCarthy and Rodgers, and Lafluer obviously not, I love his tendency to run the ball more with a lead.

hind sight is 20/20, but if I could have my way we would have swapped out ol Mike for Matt 5 or 6 years ago.

What does the size of the circle indicate?

You have to wonder how many times this has ever happened.
Seems like some have done it, but it sure is rare.

2019: Lamar had 36TDs vs 40 punts.
2018: Mahomes had 50TDs vs 45 punts.
2017: Wasn't even close. Wilson had 35TDs vs 92 punts
2016: AR had 40TDs vs 56 punts
2015: No one even close

In 2013, Payton's record setting 55TD year, they punted 65 times
In 2007, Brady had 50TDs vs just 44 punts.
In AR's best TD year thus far, 2011, he had 45TDs vs 55 punts.

I'm not going back further since pro-football-reference is acting up.

We have gone for it on 4th down this year 19 times. Far more than I ever recall.

Wonder how much that impacts that statistic.

I feel like a lot have been in FG range, but it also seems automatic as well just out of FG range. I would wager enough to change the lead in that stat, vs say the average McCarthy punting situation or even league average punting decision in those situations.

Getting 50 TDs would be so flipping cool.

11 to go with 3 games left....man that is going to be a stretch.

He needs a big night Saturday.

Screw that, I want 56 to beat Peyton, only needs 17 more in 3 games.

51 would legit be cool, put him in 2nd place all by himself, would be 12, That is like the maximum possible amount one could even realistically hope for, lol.

That is just crazy. Only 2 games this year under 3 TD. (1 rushing TD vs Jacksonville, and we scored 42 points in of the 2 games, and just an absolute outlier in TB).

107.6 was his lowest QB rating outside of TB. Just a nutzo season he is having.

I'd vote for Tyreek Hill before Mahomes.

Aaron Donald should be in the convo as well, unless we want to rename the thing to Most Valuable QB.

What is crazier to me is a tight end (Kelce) may legitimately have the most receiving yards in the NFL this year.

Yep. It would be the first time it has ever happened.

Another useless stat that doesn't matter. Talk about consistency. :rotf:

That's actually a nice little stat.

Also, Dan Marino's stats, in general, are so perplexing. The early volume stats, but also the interceptions and lack of team success. Very, very weird.

Just good enough to resign, not bad enough to cut, I like it!

Easily add Rodgers to that list had he not missed significant time with an injury in 2017.
