Have you guys been following the reverse repo stats over the past week?
I've seen that come up.

On the simplest terms it makes sense. No definitive evidence I've seen these dollars being requested back is directly tied to HF's. And I also understand very little about it, like they want the money back 15 days or something, no idea how enforceable that is, guessing there are extensions. I just have zero clue on all of that so not putting a ton of stock into that (pun intended). Amazing if all true for those investing in these stocks, but not planning for it directly. Plan for the wort, hope for the best. 8-)

Bought some around 55/54 this morning, should have waited the first 15 minutes like I always tell myself I should, but FOMO is real.

Got a nice hard line of support around 52 and an multi-day ascending level of support as well right now.

All looking very bullish. Huge close Friday with the options chain, today's a good day to buy!!

Nice. I picked up another call this morning. Jul 2 @ $70 Strike. A little bit aspirational, maybe but I think it can get there by then.

I bought $100 and $110 this morning for this Friday, so that is plenty more conservative than me.

Looks like you made a quick $400 this morning. :)

Hopefully you make a clean $1000 EOD.

Yep! :)

Still deciding how I want to play these calls. It's been a little while since I've done anything with options and I'm a bit unsure about the degree to which theta decay will affect my position, especially in this unique circumstance with AMC. I'm trying to decide whether there is any scenario where I'd actually exercise them.

Bought a $80 strike for Jul 2, wish I would have bought when you did, lol.

Sold my 48 strike for June 25 to help pay for that one, looking at maybe buying another real out of the money one at some point. Let it ride, playing with house money already here.

Price open $44.68 on 6/11

Price open $54.06 on 6/22

They took out about 15 million more borrowed shares, roughly to the tune of about 3/4 of a billion dollars at the prices over that time, and the price went up 21%.

Not to late to get in, great time to buy right after a crazy amount of borrowing the past 2-3 trading days.

Guys, get out. Take your profit and move on. 3,000% return for 2021.

From AMC's most recent filing:

"We believe that the recent volatility and our current market prices reflect market and trading dynamics unrelated to our underlying business, or macro or industry fundamentals, and we do not know how long these dynamics will last. Under the circumstances, we caution you against investing in our Class A common stock, unless you are prepared to incur the risk of losing all or a substantial portion of your investment."

Price right now: 58.53

See GME - 52 week high was 483.00, now selling at 218. Eventually economic reality sets in.

What do y'all think about CCL (Carnival Cruise Lines) as an 18 month to 36 month play?

It seems relatively low risk with some upside.

Currently at 28 and change. COVID low was 13.82. It made around 3 billion in 2019 and then nearly went belly up in 2020, before being rescued by outsiders.

GME and AMC both gunna go a lot higher though. AMC still has about 92 million borrowed shared that need to be returned, GME about 10.5 million. Only way to return a share to acquire one. Every day they hold onto an outstanding share, they have to pay interest, losing millions of dollars a week in aggregate, on top of their unrealized losses. Sounds like you don't comprehend what is happening here, this is a not long term technical, fundamental play, and the AMC disclaimer is clearly to legally wash their hands of any SEC onlookers.

I think it's still one of the best bets on the market today, why I continue to add to my portfolio weekly.

And this has become a movement more than trying to make money, this is Occupy Wall Street, grown up and with money, and we are winning. To the tune of billions and billions of dollars. This will be the greatest transfer of wealth in human history. Be apart of the movement, stick it to the 1% who plays by their own rules, took covid stimulus money designed to help our economy and instead, used it to try to short and manipulate companies into bankruptcy.

Yes, shorts will cover. And yes, there are costs associated with shorting. That's some serious Captain Obvious stuff, BF. What you can't say is when shorts will cover or at what price point -- and that is what matters. Nor can you justify the current price of the stock based on things like earnings, dividends, market share or anything else. Take your money. It isn't your money until you sell.

You guys are allowing emotion and desire to control your decisions. Invest in a ponzi scheme with ties to organized crime (crypto) and serious risk of being regulated out of existence? - no problem, because your desire for a stateless currency is what is most important to you.

Stay long on firms with businesses whose earnings don't justify their valuations, either now or any time in the coming decades? - no problem, because the 1% likes to suck their own cocks at our expense. True, but not really relevant.

I am very well diversified. I have more in real estate than I do in current AMC and GME holdings, and I hold more gold, silver and platinum than I do crypto (especially now ).

I never once implied the current stock price is based off earnings or company valuation. Yet the current stock price is what the market is currently deciding the price is. I can't say when shorts are going to cover, no one can. There an army of people fully invested, financially, emotionally and intelligently and with great conviction. We are sitting on the much better hand here. All I know is I can remain poor at this point, a lot longer than Citadel can remain solvent. :rotf: I got nothing but time on my side.

Dig into it deeper, you might surprise yourself how deep this all goes and how strong the data is in our favor, and how much deeper this goes than a normal stock.

Also just gunna toss out there Citadel alone has been fined 58 times by the SEC in the last decade for violations related to counterfeit synthetic shares. To think those do not exist and the actual short interest and shares on loan are not much much higher, is kind of naive, and what could really make this thing historic. But even without any of those, still extremely bullish. I will be extremely shocked if this does not get to at least 3 digits before this is over, absolute possibility of 4 digits. Harder to buy in now, but when this was $8, knowing everything, was just a completely risk free lottery ticket at the time.
