Packers.com put up a great Alumni interview with TJ Lang and Josh Sitton that they did together last December.

Josh ranked his best Packers teams he was part of.

He said best Packers teams ranked in order:

Best: 2014 Packers
2nd best: 2011 Packers
3rd best: 2010 Packers
I have seen similar things before, too, which surprises me, because I think the 2012 and 2013 teams are underrated. Especially 2013, but the injuries to Rodgers and Finley changed everything that year.
That 2013 team was really good. We were top of the league up to when Rodgers went down and still beat the Bears without him. 2014 was basically the 2013 team for the exception of adding Julius Peppers and Devante Adams (who had minimal impact but came up big over the middle in our two larger games)

It would have been nice to have a crack at Seattle that year with a healthy Rodgers. Hell it would have been nice to have a crack at Seattle in 2014 with a healthy Rodgers.

Packers claimed two players on waivers from Miami today: defensive tackle Gerald Willis and edge rusher Jamal Davis. Both players went undrafted in 2019 and spent a brief period on NFL practice squads before ending up on the Dolphins’ active roster late in the season.

Davis profiles as a lean but athletic pass-rusher with good movement skills. A defensive end at the University of Akron, he posted 5.5 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, and an interception as a senior. At the 2019 Combine, Davis performed well, posting a 4.60-second 40-yard dash, a seven-second-flat 3-cone drill, and jumps of 39 inches (vertical) and 122 inches (broad). All of those numbers were above the 80th percentile for edge rushers (per Mockdraftable) and gave him an overall RAS of 9.47. After bouncing around to three AFC South teams from May through December, Miami signed him off the Titans’ practice squad and he played in three games late in the season, seeing only a handful of snaps as a deep backup.

Willis, who is the younger brother of Washington safety Landon Collins, started his college career at Florida but was dismissed from the team early on. He moved on to Miami, where he played out the remainder of his college career, though he took the 2017 season off to “refocus himself.” However, a strong senior season in 2018 saw him earn second-team All-America honors from Sports Illustrated with 18 tackles for loss — most among FBS defensive tackles — and four sacks.

Anyone notice that neither of these two guys show up on the Packers website? There's no news saying they've been released or waived or anything... I'm wondering if COVID prevented them from taking an in-person physical so the transactions aren't official until they show up for camp and take their physical? Seems weird.
Willis has now been waived before ever getting added to the roster officially.

Quite a few Packers on the top 100 yesterday. I know most people dont care for the list. They always snub someone. Clark appears to not be on the list. We will probably see Jones tonight in the 30s and Rodgers in the teens. Not bad landing 6 players on the top 100. Its good to see our players recognized by their peers.

I really don't think we are going to see Aaron Jones in the 30.

He’s gotta he on the list. There’s no way in hell the league voted on guys like Carson and Jacobs over Jones.

Even if we don't get a full season, just give me Week 1.

Expecting six based on this:

But, with Preston Smith already revealed, someone is already being left off. Clark or Jones are being overlooked.

I would put Clark up there, not Jones.

I feel like Kenny might get a lot more love from peers as well.

But we'll see. I have definitely been wrong before.

If theres 6 players on the list and we are in the top 40 players in the league I would be willing to bet anything its Jones on and Clark snubbed. Based on the backs already named it makes sense for Jones to be there. Based on the DTs listed Clark would be undeserving of a top 40 spot.

Ingram was the last back at 44. Jones had the better season and is the better player at this point. The last interior lineman to go was Chris Jones at 52 and Jones is better than Clark.

I agree. IDL:

91 - Grady Jarrett
84 - Cam Heyward
73 - Fletcher Cox
71 - Jurrell Casey
56 - DeForest Buckner
52 - Chris Jones

That whole position group is pretty much snubbed on this list, but Clark in particular.

If Jordan Love opts out for the year and his contract tolls, the Packers would be in a much better place longer-term... just sayin'

It would be better for the Packers. Would make no sense for the player. The best thing for them is to get out of their rookie deal ASAP especially for a QB. Even a backup gets payed more than most starters.
