Still pretty certain Rodgers returns.
Packers want him back because he is the best qb.
Will only be if Rodgers wants to leave but I don't think he wants to.
No, he is not, and that is a FACT.
Patrick Mahomes is better
Joe Burrow is better
Jalen Hurts is better
Jusin Herbert is better
Trevor Lawrence is better
Josh Allen is better
Daniel Jones is better
There are other 2nd tier QB's, Cousins, Brock Purdy, Tom Brady and of course Rodgers because that is what he is now.
If you meant to refer to Love vs Rodgers, why didn't you say that? And what evidence can you give to support that opinion, because Love clearly outplayed Rodgers vs the Eagles.
Secondly, what is your criteria for rating a QB? Performance vs poor teams? Performance in the Playoffs or when a playoff game is on the line? Or self promotion and fan support?

I really am leaning the other way. It seems like we are set up for a divorce of convenience for both sides. I don’t see the desperation from either side this year to make the necessary concessions to make it work.

Rodgers is the only one talking, and he's really not saying anything except I'd rather go to LVR then the Jets, the FO said they want him back, or at least thats the last I heard, so it's hard to form a solid opinion either way.
Financially it's best to part ways, get some draft capitol and roll with Love, but if there is a glimmer of success with keeping Rodgers then thats what I expect the FO will do.

back to back mvp 2 years ago.
Broken thumb, worst receiving group in the league and &%$@ bad oline.
Rodgers is still the best - take it on a last 3 years view he won 2 out of 3 mvps. That is a recent enough block of time.
I don't think it is a shocking or hyperbolic statement to say the mvp for 2 out of last 3 years is the best.

My 2 cents is:
IF Rodgers only wants 1 more year, he'll play and finish in GB in 2023
IF he wants more than 1 more season, he's getting traded
QB efficiency vs Top 5 passing defenses from 1999 - 2022

MVP *0 out of the last 3 years, Rodgers stole those from its rightful owner: Davante Adams.
Adams without Rodgers put up 100/1516/14 for a tumultuous Raiders team.
Rodgers without Adams devolved into Mr. Bean.
All hail the real MVP, Adams! Down with the pretender!

So true. Gone are the days where he made everyone around him better. He was that QB, but with age and declining skills, is no longer that guy.

you mean the Adams that dropped a perfectly thrown pass in the PO loss 3 years ago, that Adams?
point is a great receiver like Adams will demand a large % of targets, and is so good at winning the battle on contested catches any quality QB is simply good enough, even with Rodgers broken thumb, and our inconsistent pass pro Adams would have done better then anyone we had.
last year was a glowing example of the FO neglect it had shown our offense for half a decade, and the only focus in your brain is dissing a wounded Rodgers and defending the incompetence of our GM, Rodgers isn't the reason we've been one and done in the recent PO games, that title belongs to Brian Gutekunst
If you want to move on with Love, fine, but to claim Rodgers isn't still a good QB for doing so is bull, I get the money angle, ok, but that is the only reason, and your going to find that out next season where ever he plays.

I still think Rodgers can be a good QB in this league in the right situation.
But I don't think Rodgers can be a good QB for the Green Bay Packers and what the Packers need from the QB position.
It makes sense for both parties to move on. It's best for both parties to move on.

It's interesting to note that in some eyes, Rodgers' performance this past year was not indicative of his true talent/playing ability, but when Love was drafted his most recent season was indicative of his true talent and not the previous season. Little bit of a discrepancy in the logic on that one.

Yeah. A little two faced when harping on Love and his performance vs KC but then only blame the Offensive Line when justifying Rodgers's performance vs the Lions or Jets.

Too much talk from both sides about moving on. I think the Packers know they’re not is position to seriously contend. They learned that last year. I think Rodgers knows that too.
I’ve said it for 4 years now. The Packers need to be noble a 2 year plan and reset their cap. Suck it up for one year and drop your bad contracts and void years now and reload. You can’t do that with Rodgers.
Trade him. Acquire an extra 1st and maybe a 2nd and build a strong young core that’s cheap for our GM after we fire Gutenbumst for being whatever PC now for acting like a retard.

I never got very into Rodgers trade rumors last offseason. Anyone can go back and check the convo on this forum from them, I was not really a part of it. It felt to me like the org wanted him back, so the only way he wouldn't be back is if he himself wanted out, and despite Adams being traded, I didn't hear anything that would lead me to believe he did.
There were strong rumors he wanted to go to Denver, but that was pre-2021 season when he was unhappy, not 2022 offseason after things were patched up.
This year, I am very into it. The org seems open to all options this time, maybe Rodgers, but maybe not, and there are rumblings about his interest in Oakland not unlike Denver.

Raiders are now the betting favorites for Aaron to play, even over GB.
Tempted to throw a few bucks on GB right now at +300
