Hopefully he hallucinates his way right out of GB.

All the hallucigenics will certainly help his trade value

I am going to do dangerous drugs..get high and hallucinate to decide my future. Nowhere in that process is a rational persons thinking. Rodgers has lost it.

And folks you just can't defend him when he talks like this... just can't

Definitely an interesting guy.
So what is the answer? Diaper or bathroom? Or neither?
That convo that you quoted was from his chat on the radio today with Hawk and the other guy. Lol.

FWIW, Rodgers could say that the circumstances of this past year speak to his superior ability as much as any potential slippage on his part. And he wouldn’t be wrong about that. The people who take a superficial view of his performance this year will mostly still see how he overcame the limitations to his offense. I think those who dig deeper might see how he simply wasn’t as sharp as in the past.

We can still play the guy in 2023. He won’t be as good as Mahommes or some of the others. No doubt. But the question is more about if you can still win with him or not. If the OLine stays healthy… If the WR group develops… And so on. That is the point. I’m afraid the Packer management will decide that we can live with Aaron in his sub-MVP form. So it would be up to him to decide if he wants to play someplace else. THEN, the Packers won’t be against getting a trade package.

That’s how I see this play out.

A 4-day darkness retreat where they hallucinate sounds like ayahuasca again although since he has already admitted to doing ayahuasca, idk why he wouldn't just say it if he were doing it again. So maybe it is something else.

What a wacky guy!

4 day isolation retreat, with the drapes pulled, theres a possibility of hallucinations, I need to decide my future :rotf:
nothing like broadcasting don't come looking here, if we want to start Love, he's asking to be cut, just like Fav're, I want a free release.

I should open my own "darkness retreat": $100 a day! See how long you can last! If you make it 7 days, you get a free T-shirt! :P

Disclaimer: Food and water not provided. But I will give you a poop bucket and some wet wipes.

I continue to think he is def playing next year..and he keeps saying he may not play to rank his trade value. Teams won’t give up as much loot if they think it very well may just be a one year rental.

I agree with that but getting from here to there might drive a man to drink.

This is the problem.

Nowhere was it said he is going to do dangerous drugs, get high and hallucinate.

He said he is going to a retreat in which he is in solitary confinement in the dark for four days. A time for complete reflection, introspection and mediation.

But yeah make up whatever drivel you want to support your narrative.

Derek Carr visiting with Saints.

That will be the first domino. Believe he has like a $40m guarantee that will kick in Tuesday after the Super Bowl?

Not sure how it works in terms of agreeing to a trade in principle, but not being able to execute till the start of the league new year?

But might see our first real offseason action on the QB musical chairs.

I can somehow understand the point of Rodgers. Sometimes in my life I’d do very long hikes to get my head clear, or some trips far away to get a new perspective. But usually those life-important decisions should come to you naturally over time, not forced into a tight window with a lot of hokus-pokus. It just looks from a distance as if #12 is not playing for the sake of winning & competing anymore but just to build his legacy and to remain significant.

I‘d still like to see him to ride off as a Packer for good, so I‘d opt to keep him, for pure sentimental reasons but since this is the first time I do not think he is good enough anymore to lead us to the promised land I‘d be not in tears either if we trade him to get some gem(s).

Teams can agree on compensation and, as long as permitted by the teams, the teams can talk to the potential incoming players. The trade can even be announced as finalized, but, yes, not processed until the new year begins.

So then Derek would need to sign a new contract by Tuesday, and raiders and new team need to have a trade agreed to.

Daniel Jones is better
The schtick is funny every now and then, but adults are talking here.
His team made the playoffs. The Packers did not.
This season, Giants 27, Packers 20. With the Packers having a 1st and goal to tie the game with 2 minutes to go - and turning it over on downs. Yeah, right, Rodgers is better. What a pathetic joke.

Now apparently you think the Giants are a better team and the problem was the team and not Rodgers???? I disagree. The Packers were picked to win the NFC North The consensus at the beginning of the season was that the Packers were a legitimate SB candidate.

Meanwhile "Following the release of the NFL schedule, Caesars has provided odds and spreads for all of the Giants’ 2022 regular-season matchups. Based on those numbers, the Giants are projected as favorites in three games, underdogs in 13 games, and a push in one. If the season matches those predictions, the Giants will finish with a 3-14-1 record following Week 18 of the 2022 season."

I don't know about you but I believe the mark of a good QB is to win games his supporting cast is not good enough to win and to inspire his team. Jones did that.

I don't know about you but I believe the mark of a bad QB is to lose games his supporting cast was good enough to win or to discourage his team. Rodgers did that, not only this season but in the playoffs 3 years in a row.

You are of course entitled to your opinion but you are not entitled to resort to name calling. Which you did. Which is the mark of a juvenile.

Maybe you think that you are the adult in the room. You most assuredly are not. At this point you can apologize to me or prove to the world that you are a pathetic jerk.

Yeah I know everyone loves to make fun of him, but ultimately, the guy is very focused on his mental health, and in my opinion, that's great. Too much stigma around mental health but more people should focus on theirs and the solution isn't always "counseling". Lots of great alternative methods so kudos to him.

I'm not a fan of Rodgers' stance on some issues, especially his association with Rogan. But that's for another forum that I don't want to get into.

The more likely scenario is the trade would be agreed by Tuesday and then Carr would agree to delay the deadline in his current contract until after the new league year. Neither NO nor LV benefit by LV being the middle man in any new contract.

Lol, goodness, everyone so damn sensitive all of a sudden. Welcome to the internet, take the joke in stride or grow up. WTF is going on around here lately? Should we make a sensitivity thread, safe space, and we can super over mod and everyone has to be nice every post and no sarcasm, humor allowed?

So by your above rubric, simply winning gamez, why were you calling Aaron a bad QB consistently after three 13 win seasons? It's fine if you don't like him, but be consistent? Last year you said Jordan Love runs this offense better than Aaron. Jordan was 0-1, Aaron was 13-3 (excluding Lions, including 49ers). Wouldn't that give Aaron the mark of a good QB then? Why are we changing definitions of good QB's to fit an already decided conclusion?

And no Daniel Jones is not better than Aaron Rodgers.
