From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
Superb defensive play but Love keeps giving me reasons not to trust him.
What did Love do so poorly that you don't trust him?
Love will make 1-2 poor throws/very bad decisions per game. He also makes amazing plays. It is reminiscent of Favre, IMO. The good news is we won a Super Bowl with Favre. Bad news is we never knew which Favre was going to show up moment by moment.

Every QB makes 1 or 2 bad throws/decisions each game.
That said, what are these 1 or 2 throws/decisions this game?
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
So the only way we don't make the playoffs is losing out and losing a tiebreaker to the NFC South 2nd place team (either ATL wins out or TB wins all but 1 game)

Which part of my assessment do you disagree with?
What throws/decisions tonight were so awful it makes you not trust him?

I don’t think it’s appreciated enough what the Packers just pulled off.
The Seahawks were riding a 4-game winning streak, playing their best ball of the season, playing in their home stadium on national television in front of a sold out raucous crowd…and the Packers took it to them from the opening snap with bully ball and dominated.
Yeah, sure, the offense went stale in the second half with a 3-score lead, but the win was never really legitimately threatened. When it got interesting, the offense gave them the dagger.
Love needs to clean up some of the deep ball accuracy, sure, but look at his stats compared to any other QB in the league throwing downfield. Find me something to complain about.
The defense held an explosive offense to 13 pts without their best CB and an injured Quay for nearly half the game. They dominated, pure and simple.
So I’m not much interested in focusing on what might have been or leaving a score or two on the field. They dominated in all three phases. Enjoy it.
