Dope Sheet

The Green Bay Packers go west to take on the Seattle Seahawks in prime time.

It is the first Sunday Night Football contest in Seattle for Green Bay.
Overall, the Packers hold a 15-9 advantage in the series (including the postseason), including wins in five of the last six.
Green Bay has not played at Seattle since 2018 and last won in Seattle in 2008.
Including the postseason, three of the last four games between the two teams have been decided by single digits.
The two teams last played in 2021, with Green Bay recording the first shutout in the series (17-0).
This will be the third straight week that the Packers have faced a team that enters the contest on a winning streak of three-plus games. It is the first time since 1975 (Oct. 19 at Dallas, Oct. 26 vs. Pittsburgh and Nov. 2 vs. Minnesota) that Green Bay has played three consecutive games in a season against teams that were on winning streaks of three-plus games (Elias Sports Bureau).
It is the final regular-season game the Packers have against the NFC West, having gone 3-0 so far this season versus the division. Green Bay, Buffalo and Detroit are the only teams to be 3-0 against the NFC West this season.
Dating back to 2002, the Packers have finished 4-0 in a single regular season against the NFC West two times (2009 and 2021).
Under Head Coach Matt LaFleur, Green Bay is 10-1 against the NFC West during the regular season, the most wins any team outside the division has had against the NFC West since 2019. The Packers' .909 winning percentage against the division since 2019 ranks No. 2 in the NFL over that span (Kansas City, 5-0, 1.000).
The Packers have won 10 consecutive regular-season games against NFC West foes, tied for its second-longest winning streak against a division since 2002 (12-game winning streak vs. NFC North from 2010-12).
It will be the third of four consecutive scheduled prime-time games for Green Bay, which is the first time the Packers have played four straight prime-time games in a single season since the merger (Elias).
For the 32nd straight season (1993-2024), Green Bay will play on Monday Night Football as it hosts the New Orleans Saints in Week 16.
Under LaFleur, the Packers are 10-4 in games played on Sunday night. The 10 wins are No. 2 in the NFL since 2019 behind Kansas City (11-5, .688) and the .714 winning percentage is No. 5 in the league over that span.
QB Jordan Love has started two Sunday night games, posting three passing TDs and zero INTs in each contest with passer ratings of 118.6 and 125.3. The Packers won both contests (27-19 vs. Kansas City and 33-10 at Minnesota).
Dating back to 2023, Love leads the NFL with a passer rating of 121.8 in Sunday night games.
WITH THE CALL

NBC will broadcast the game as play-by-play man Mike Tirico joins analyst Cris Collinsworth in the booth with Melissa Stark reporting from the sidelines.

All Packers games can be heard on the Packers Radio Network, which is made up of 54 stations in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois and North and South Dakota. 97.3 The Game – WRNW-Milwaukee is in its third season as the flagship station of the Packers Radio Network. For a map and full listing of radio affiliates, go to packers.com/video/radio-network. Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play), two-time Packers Pro Bowler Larry McCarren (analyst), and three-time Packers Pro Bowler John Kuhn (sideline reporter) call the action. McCarren first joined the team's broadcasts in 1995 and enters his 30th season calling Packers games. After originally being paired together in 1999, McCarren and Larrivee enter their 26th season of broadcasts together. They surpassed Jim Irwin and Max McGee for the most regular-season and postseason games broadcast for the Packers with 313 at the 2018 season opener against Chicago.
The broadcast is also available on Sirius Satellite Radio on channel 81 or 226 or through the app (Packers Radio Network feed).
Westwood One will be broadcasting on radio to a national audience with Ryan Radtke (play-by-play) and Mike Golic (analyst) on the call and Scott Graham hosting pregame and halftime shows.

What makes a Dad proud? Many things, but none more than….

Our four adult children are having a “siblings weekend.” They’re meeting in Seattle to attend the game. Since they all grew up in Colorado, it’s cool that they have followed their Dad and have all become Packer fans!!

PS. They better bring home a win!!

Really excited for this one. The biggest conference non/division game of the year.

Would love to add a NFC playoff team victory on our resume. I am not counting the Rams simply because they were a different team when we played them.

Here's a link to total DVOA and I like to look at the trend as much as the current number
Packers were at # 12 a month ago and # 5 a week ago. Now at # 3 in the league

SEA is also improving, they were at # 23 a month ago and # 18 last week. This week they are at # 15

From the betting side, here's the current Sagarin ratings, a combo of 3 score-based rankings

Is it me or does this news have a hint of something else going on? Since when does MLF make medical decisions?

At this point I guess it's fine to sit Alexander to ensure he truly is healthy for the playoffs. Jaire picked a great game last year to have his best game in the wildcard. We could use that dominace again in January.

Seahags have shown improvement recently, but its been against some lesser teams. Their 4 game win streak was vs 49ers, Cards and Jets.
This week, they'll face a stiffer test

I’m cool with continuing to keep Alexander out. Hold him until Minnesota. You should really be able to win without him against the Seahawks and Saints IMO.

Jaire said he needed at least 21 days of non contact a week before Thanksgiving.

We are kind of right at that 21 day window. I'm not alarmed yet. It's good he is a full participant in practice. Hopefully they are just being cautious.

There are just some weird comments from LaFleur like saying a player has some say into themselves being out and then this week saying he determined Alexander didn't look good to go. Way out of the norm for Lafleur when he addresses injuries.

Musgrave said he hit 20 mph on the speed tests so the injured guys were clearly doing something with that.
