Honestly can't even begin to understand what is frustrating you.
I'am burnt out on Aaron Rodgers scenarios, which are based only on opinions, and many so far fetched they insult common sense.
if people want to discuss anything that doesn't include Aaron freaking Rodgers I'am all ears

I have posted three separate topics today... Savage 5th-year option, total salary cap outlook, and possible special teams rules changes. I refresh the site a few times during the day and the only topic moving is Rodgers. I can't help what others want to discuss, but I am over here trying because I think a lot of people feel the way you do. It's just... kind of big topic and hard to avoid.

I saw and commented in a couple of em, thanks. I don't get into the contract stuff much, that stuff is way above my attention span
I need to have more patience for the Rodgers people

Maybe, but then expressing your concern in "Rodgers future" thread might not be the best approach.

Was gunna say the same, don't even need to visit the thread.
Also, I actually just learned how to query the forum, and looking at post counts between this thread and Rodgers wants out thread, tells me he absolutely loves talking about this.
Code: Select all

Count(A.topic_id) AS Post_Count

LEFT JOIN `phpbb3j_users` B ON
A.poster_id = B.user_id AND

I wouldn't mind rolling with Carr if we did a QB swap

I would totally do a sink or swim with Love.
If we are moving away from Aaron, given our cap situation and his dead cap, I really want no part of adding a 20+ million QB salary.

Gotta say, got some real ‘this is it’ vibes in regards to coming back to GB, just me?

For me, not quite "this is it", but "options open". Didn't say anything about moving on, but didn't speak anything like "will be fun with y'all next season".
Did thank Murphy, Gutey and Ball, along with high praise for LaFleur (as a coach as well as eyebrow model).
I think thanking people has an effect of sounding like a retirement speech. Even if AR comes back, every year you say good bye to large number of teammates.

That was my first though too. But then, if he’s gonna still contemplate until March 8, he might change his mind a dozen times or more yet.

1. He mentioned friendships that last beyond the playing days.
2. He said nothing about getting the bigger trophy (Lombardi) next season.
Still can’t draw a black and white conclusion from that. But those are definitely “finality” vibes to me. Again, he could change his mind many times. The one thing that isn’t a “finality” vibe is that he COULD have announced retirement already, like Brady, if that is what he wants. He didn’t do that.

I'll be very surprised if Rodgers retires. Even tho Brady was playing at a high level he had nothing more to prove and I got the impression he felt his family and other interests are more important. 12 is not talking like a guy ready to hang up his cleats. AR did say he's had some good conversations with Gute and company. He's most likely going to wait and see if Russ Ball can do some creative accounting to keep a good portion of the core of this roster together for another run in 2022. If they can't I can understand Rodgers not wanting to stick around if we are rebuilding. Then he'll ask to be traded. If I were in his shoes I wouldn't either. He is at the twilight of his career and wants another stab at a ring.

I hate myself for this, but...
I noticed a few tabloids popping up on Twitter mentioning Rodgers and Shailene were on the outs. No reputable Packers sources ran with it, but fiancé's absence was noticeable, to me, and Rodgers didn't utter a single word about her.

He might be having problems with a woman again, but his finances are in great shape.

i thought the speech was on point. He honored the dead and also gave HUGE props to Lacoach, as well as even mentioned his former enemies by name in Mark and Brian. Classy.
