Those are the teams that have given up 17 points or less a game in a season. Wind and losses.Half Empty wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 18:33So those are the only teams to give up <18 points and win?
I'm not so sure. Jordan needs to snap out of his funk. As does LaCoach.German_Panzer wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 18:24This wont happen twice on us. We will grow on that, Detroit might get delusional thinking they are close to the SB. Still a long way to go….YoHoChecko wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 18:12Penalties. Drops/fumbles. And the back-breaking pick-6 are the whole difference in this game. Just sloppy. Lost a winnable, crucial matchup. Frustrating but we’re get them again.

The details matter. Execution means everything.
This cannot be a common theme though. I really like Jordan Love. He makes alot of great plays and he needs his guys to make more plays for him too. But, going back to the playoff game last year against the niners, there have been too many really bad game changing plays or at minimum close to game changing.
So when Malik Willis led us to wins it was in spite of LaCoach?RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 18:38I'm not so sure. Jordan needs to snap out of his funk. I think he means everything offensively. False starts to, poor snaps, to bad int, to dropped balls. Execution.Pckfn23 wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 18:41Scott4Pack wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 18:38Me thinks if we gripe about the details today that we are missing the point...

I didn't say that.MY_TAKE wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 18:41This cannot be a common theme though. I really like Jordan Love. He makes alot of great plays and he needs his guys to make more plays for him too. No matter how good you are, if you make to many really bad plays, it will cost you winnable games.
No, the details. If we gripe about the details, we are missing the point, but details matter? That's why I am questioning what that means.MY_TAKE wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 18:43I think he means everything offensively. False starts to, poor snaps, to bad int, to dropped balls. That was a mistake. I thought I was quoting go pack go. Seriously...Not sure what happened.Pckfn23 wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 18:43Ya, I didn't say that. I will agree with you though. Need to be smarter.MY_TAKE wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 18:46That was a mistake. I thought I was quoting go pack go. I haven't watched the second half yet but a few thing stood out.musclestang wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024 20:06This game isn't just an anomaly though. It's the same stuff every game pretty much. My gripes matter LOL. Penalties, drops, dumbass decisions, players not aware of down, distance, spot on field, time on clock etc.
Yes this team has a ton of potential, but at some point they need to put it together and keep it there. This is 2 divisional games we've basically been embarrassed by the visiting team this year in 2 tries. Self inflicted blah, blah, blah.
Trust me, I know. But when is it going to be improved upon? This isn't week 3. it's not good enough against good teams, not even close.
I don't know what it was yesterday, but every time I specifically watched the Linebackers it was horrible. Quay stuck in mud or couldn't disengage at all from a blocker or Wilson or McDuffie overpursuing and getting spun around and having their back to the ball carrier as they flew by. It seemed every play I focused a little on the linebackers it was bad. Even Cooper, saw him just flash thru that line and get stopped stone cold in an instant by the RB. Never saw a guy moving so fast stop so abruptly LOLTheSkeptic wrote: ↑04 Nov 2024 04:46[ And Quay Walker needs to step up his game or sit on the bench
i know Cooper had great coverage of a back out of the backfield down the sideline. As for getting stopped, they play the game too. Everybody gets blocked sometime. I don't think Quay has the vision to control the middle. He's not a grizzled veteran by any means but let the rookies have their shot.musclestang wrote: ↑04 Nov 2024 04:53I don't know what it was yesterday, but every time I specifically watched the Linebackers it was horrible. I'm sure they had some good plays, but didn't seem to be any that I watched.
