It is possible of course. If Rodgers returns then Love is gone after this season. Father Time face plants Rodgers and the Packers go 5-12 this season with Rodgers and even Da Bears win once vs them. But 5-12 is not bad enough to get either of the top 2 QB's in next year's draft so the Packers are stuck with the 3rd best QB in the draft and the likes of Kurt and Danny. Scary thought.

OMG YOU GUYS IT'S ALMOST TIME

Also, for DL and LB day it seems like a nice time to mention two guys I just love but never really seem to mention that much: Nolan Smith and BJ Ojulari. Both productive, both high character, both slightly lacking ideal measurements. Just the kinds of guys you want on your team. Seem to be the guys who are pegged to go in the 40s but also the names that many analysts say might sneak into round one "unexpectedly." Apparently both had outstanding media sessions yesterday.

Height was a surprise, but weight and arm length not great for Kancey:

Calijah Kancey

Height: 6'1"
Weight: 281 pounds
Arm Length: 30 5/8"
Hand Size: 9 1/8"

Will Anderson added weight

Will Anderson Jr.

Height: 6'3.5"
Weight: 253 pounds
Arm Length: 33 7/8"
Hand Size: 9 7/8"

Herbig to be the latest line of disappointing EDGE/OLB hybrids from Wisconsin whose arms are too short to rush

Nick Herbig

Height: 6'2"
Weight: 240 pounds
Arm Length: 31 1/4"
Hand Size: 9 1/4"

DT Brian Bresse weighed in under 300 pounds in a bit of a surprise, but his back-to-back 4.93 40s seem to indicate it was to work on movement.

Ran 4.78 with a 1.64 10-yard split in his first run.

Reminder that Wyatt ran a 4.77 with a 1.60 10-yard split at 6'3" 304

His second run was 4.73, unofficial; the NFL Network guys pointed out that's the exact same as another common comp: Ed Oliver, who has had a decidedly less decorated NFL career. Oliver was 6' 1 7/8" and 281. So almost identical to Kancey. Longer arms by about 3/4" for Oliver as well.

Basically I am seeing my anti-Kancey (early) stance validated.

they did a show of Donald doing the 4 bag at his combine, great feet and balance, which to me translates to having great leverage, and why Donald is a perennial all pro.

Ha, the official time came in at 4.67; Donald ran a 4.69

Spoke too soon, I guess  :idn:

10-yard at 1.64; Oliver had a 1.63; Wyatt a 1.60; Donald a 1.63

Yeah, they actually called it "The Aaron Donald drill" because he did it so well

Will be interesting to see the other drills.

Seems like his negatives relate to his tweener status. Chances he loses weight to become an EDGE? Although that height and arm length is far from ideal at EDGE.

Look at these verticals...

Then consider that Adebawore is 282 pounds (most on this list 230-250)

HOLY COW as I was writing up Adeboware's vertical leap, he ran an unofficial 4.54 with a 1.61 10-yard split.

He's a guy who played edge but might be more of a 5-tech or 4i in the NFL. He's also known to be very strong despite being only 282 pounds for a DL. He's not tall but his arms were about 34 inches. Intriguing player if you have the right role for him; solid Senior Bowl showing.

I did not expect Nolan Smith to be the A+ tester he's been today.

41.5" vertical
10' 8" broad jump
1.51 10-yard
4.44 40-time (unofficial)

He's small for an edge at only 238 but has such instincts and is a good run defender in space; might be a hybrid SLB/nickel rusher

Dang.

agree, he blew the group up, some team will create a fit for him, I havn't researched him at all but that speed is impressive, the run didn't look as fast as it was either, effortless athletic ability always gets my attention.

He's smooth. Might need to move him around some but the dude is explosive. I really don't think the Georgia scheme did him justice.

Even the big boy from Baylor moved great on the figure 8 drill.

Bresee was a little sloppy moving imo
