Steelers were ranked 25th in the NFL rushing prior to the contest and ran for 205 yards. Same old, same old.
Packers will face just 3 of the current top 10 scoring offenses (and only 4 of the top 16) this season.
Those 3 teams are the Chargers on Sunday, the Lions on Thanksgiving, and the Chiefs the following Sunday.

Can't convince me the Vikings have better talent on defense.

The Vikings have one of the best DCs in the league. top 5 for sure, maybe top 3. It makes a huge difference.

Yeah MN got a great DC signed. I was super jealous when I heard Flores was going to MN.

Flores is one of the better motivators in the league IMO. He had to deal with an owner and GM tanking his team, dealing with QB injuries and literally no running game, and got the most out of his defenses that lacked edge rushers IMO.
Great DC nab by the Vikings.

Nickel in a 3-4 can be played several different ways: 2-4, 3-3 stack, or 3-3 heavy.
This year's defense is making fundamental personnel mistakes consistently. There was about a handful of times yesterday where we were in nickel or dime in short yardage situations or against personnel that didn't dictate the use of nickel or dime.

Yeah I saw that MLF ripped on everyone who has gripes about this and that they were "Exposed". I would say that MLF/Barry are the ones being exposed since we keep getting gashed on the ground.
I get defending your coaches while they're still employed but if Barry is still employed going into next season, then MLF should also be gone.

Im not a huge Xs an Os guy but I can at least tell whats going on generally in the game. All I know is that if I was coaching, the game plan would have been to stop the run and short dump off passes. Thats exactly all Pittsburg generally does. IT really isn't rocket science all the time. If your defense is getting gashed because your just getting beat then so be it. If your getting gashed because inappropriate personnel, defensive play calling thats on the coaches.
So yeah, I agree. All these things add up over time to make a team crappy and lose games. Everyone knows Pickett sucks. At least, thats my opinion

Yes. It's tough enough trying to be patient as the offense gets matured with all of the changes that have or are occurring with McCoach's questionable offensive calls and overall game plan. But then having to endure this fundamentally flawed defense strategy(s) is making matters on offense much more difficult that it needs to be.
It is becoming increasing clear that a FRESH START is sorely needed. The existing coach staff makeup and GM have had plenty of rope to hang themselves on. This cluster can only end with a house cleaning.......me thinks anyway. Oh .......... and Aaron Jones has worn out his welcome too.

I don't think Jones is at 100% but aside of week 1 in Chicago he has had a pretty bad season overall.

I saw that... Can't put down your DC in public, but man you can't go to bat for him that vigorously when he is doing some very questionable things.

No, had nothing to do with Herman specifically... It was Lafleur's presser comments today.
