Didn't mean that as combative, lol, just that yoho likes his later rounders.

Exactly. We didn't need to move up for Love to begin with. And as mentioned, are we going for it all or are we not going for it all. This was the draft to fall in our laps, WR heavy, biggest need, biggest opportunity to get a big difference maker.
I just mean for a QB, a guy you have to have a whole lot of conviction to pick, you do it.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020 22:52It's a 4th. But yes, your point remains to an extent. It is The Pick that all my favorite Day 3 guys fit into as I mentioned earlier.

We still can... But this is absolutely not what I was expecting tonight. I could see OT, TE, CB over Jordan even.
The issue is Jordan not being a good QB to make that move for, but... Was it even necessary. I don't think it even was. Gute has moved into win now mode since he's taken over, until this pick in the biggest WR draft in years... That's what's so shocking.NCF wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020 22:56I just mean for a QB, a guy you have to have a whole lot of conviction to pick, you do it.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020 22:52It's a 4th. What OT, TE or CB was available at #26 who is better than Love? I really thought we were moving up for Queen.TheGreenMan wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020 22:55Exactly. i wanted Queen bad as he was still available. Ravens grabbing him just confirms to me will be great.
Gute must feel he can get his WR tomorrow.TheGreenMan wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020 23:00The issue is Jordan not being a good QB to make that move for, but... Was it even necessary. I don't think it even was. Will be very curious to hear what Gutey says. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't.TheGreenMan wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020 23:00The issue is Jordan not being a good QB to make that move for, but... Was it even necessary. I don't think it even was.
exactly. Rodgers was a historic slide. Peter King said today on Mad Dog radio that he didnt see Love being drafted tonight. Its not the same at all. Great point.
Someone that has a shot of helping this team win a super bowl in the next couple of years. Love isn't that. Any of those positions would fill a need, no matter how much of a stretch the pick would have been. Love does nothing but let this entire organization know that we're looking at the future first and foremost.Pugger wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020 23:00What OT, TE or CB was available at #26 who is better than Love? My guess is he will look to draft Crosbys replacement at K tomorrow.Pugger wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020 23:01Gute must feel he can get his WR tomorrow.TheGreenMan wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020 23:00The issue is Jordan not being a good QB to make that move for, but...
