Eagles getting Fangio

That was super quick.
Thats disappointing we couldnt even get him in here for a visit. Lafleur clearly wants that style so we shouldve just gone to the source.
He does it right, come on coach, just use him in blowouts he's mastered the prevent defense :rotf:

every scheme works with the right players and coaches.

Not sure why we should believe LaFleur obviously wants the Fangio style of defense? Yes he hired Barry, but when push came to shove and LaFleur publicly commented that he would be sticking his nose in on the defensive game planning, we played less of a Fangio style defense. The new hire will be telling.

well I suppose it stems from firing Pettine, a Ryan lineage coach, and bringing in Barry who uses the Fangio design, but again it's not just scheme imo, it's how it's deployed and the players :idn:

And yes, I used the word nor twice in the same sentence and I believe it is grammatically correct.

I've been counting out Evero because I thought he was headed to ATL. With them going Morris, we might have a real shot at him. :woohoo:

No whispers about Byron Leftwich for anything. That was a pretty fast and shocking fall from grace for him. Did I miss a back story to that?

Mr. TV Personality himself gonna take on a network talking head role. I can see this going fantastically bad.

smart decision financially, if he works as a coach, or possibly simply in any football connected job, his 25 mil. severance with NE become negotiable, I expect with broadcasting thats protected, money rules

I could see Bill being a excellent color man.

Why do you say that Belichick will lose at least part of his 2024 money if he coaches somewhere else?

because I read it last week, if Bill takes a job for another team, this years guaranteed 21 mil. plus 4 mil. in escallators becomes negotiable, which to me means Belichick wont rush to take a coaching job, unless it is exactly what he wants.
