Ryan Grant

His first season, '07, was the first post Ahman Green. They traded for him, a relative unknown RB from NY, at the end of camp, after it appeared the drafted RB's (Jackson, Wynn) were struggling. Grant immediately brought life to the running game that season when he got his chance on the field, and was a key part of powering them to 13-3 and the #2 seed.

The playoffs that year will always be remembered for Favre's last game as a Packer, at night in the frigid cold, the interception that sent the Giants to the Super Bowl.

The week prior however was at Lambeau, a snowy game. Grant had a completely disasterous start, quickly fumbling to Seattle twice, both of which turned into TD's. With 11:06 to go in the first GB was down 14-0, looked like they were flopping hard in the snowy weather. Then Grant went off. The rest of the game he had no more fumbles, finished with 201 yds on 27 carries, with 3 TD's, with long carries of 26, 15, 24, 43, and 28 yds (almost all led to points). Grant was pulled for Brandon Jackson with 8:00 left in the 4th with the game was put away 42-20. It wasn't just the slippery conditions, Seattle's RB's got a total of 29 yds on 16 carries.

After that hamstring injuries took a little bit of that hot sauce from his legs, and he wasn't anything more than a JAG. But in Favre's last win as a Packer, Grant looked special.
