The Best Games by Position Players
Beating the boredom by watching random games and clips on YouTube. One particular clip got me thinking about fairly obscure performers from the past that came up huge in certain games. I am curious what others recollect along these lines.

I will start, one of the greatest games I have ever seen by a Packers Safety was the 2007 Divisional Playoffs by Atari Bigby. He was sensational. Big hits all over the field. Forced fumble, pass break-ups. I was so excited for what that Bigby-Collins pairing could have become.
Another one that stands out is actually the same player in two separate games. Tim Masthay in 2010 at the New York Jets was the most important player on the team in helping to pitch that shut-out. He followed that up with a brilliant NFC Championship Game that, without, may have allowed the Bears to get back into that game sooner.

One of my favorites was young RB - Johnathan Franklin vs the Bengals- he had such a HUGE game that day...a really promising start to his career
Damn shame about his neck injury vs the asshole vikings
.
IT. IS. TIME
Aw, yeah, great one. I was a huge Franklin fan and this game was so affirming to his talent. Actually have his jersey around somewhere, here.

Zadarius Smith absolutely taking over the game at Minnesota, 2019. That was up there with Woodson DPoY season performances, for me.

That is another great one. That game was so fun. There was actually another Vikings game in Minnesota that I recall where there is a soundtrack of Paul Allen asking rhetorically, "Who is Mike Daniels and why is he so good?"

Just went back and re-watched the highlights of that game. I don't give a &%$@ what people have to say about him now. Peak Aaron Rodgers was the best quarterback I have ever seen.

Charles Woodson vs the Lions in that 2008 - 2010 stretch was insane.
Jerimchael Finley in December 2009 was untouchable
Ryan Grant in the 2007 NFC Divisional Game
Brett Favre 2003 Raiders
Mason Crosby 2016 Cowboys Divisional Game
Matt Flynn 2011 Week 17 vs Detroit
Eddie Lacy in December 2013 was ridiculous.

That game is still the best performance by any QB I have ever seen

How about Josh Jones Week 3 vs the Bengals in 2017. Came in huge and never saw it again.

Oh, yeah, that's a good one.
One of our worst 2nd round picks ever!

Erik Walden Week 17 in 2010 was pretty crazy too. Hadn't been with the team for like 24 hours and had multiple sacks, a FF and Fumble Recovery.

Lons at Packers - Nov. 3, 1996
Antonio Freeman broke his arm the game before (I'll never forgive that jerk John Lynch) so Don Beebe and ______ were the top two receivers. See if you can guess who it was...
7 catches for 52 yards and his only 2 TDs of the year.
Fun fact: Don Majkowski started the game for the Lions.
Don Beebe took two devastating hits, but somehow stayed in the game.

Jeff Janis 2015 Divisional Round Playoff Game - FINAL DRIVE
Ted Hendricks in the marvelous year he played for us and blocked 7 kicks/punts for us, he won the Rams game with 3 interceptions.
I was in the crowd that night. Still makes me sick that we lost that game. Thought we could have made the NFCCG that year, at least.

Yeah our defense played surprisingly well that night. The error was kicking the PAT. MM should have gone for 2. We were the inferior team. You need to steal the game. Not extend the game.
