Doesn't it feel like every guard and center are never credited with a sack given up?
Just feel like I read these stats often.

I agree although I wouldn’t be opposed to holding onto him through this final contract year and utilizing him as either 1) the starting LT or 2) quality backup swing tackle. If he earns the starter spot, great! That’ll be a higher comp pick next year when he signs on with another team as a starter level LT. If he’s relegated as backup swing tackle, he’ll provide quality insurance and/or quality play when called upon as the Packers march toward their 5th Super Bowl triumph.flapackfan wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 07:37I personally think Walker days are numbered. He has value as a trade piece and is going to need a contract as a starting LT.
IMHO if WAlker had right side ability, he and Tom would have been switched last year, I don't see the swing tackle ability with Walker, RT has to have good run-blocking ability, and memory says that's WAlkers weakness, maybe you hit the nail on the head and we'll move him for a draft pickAPB wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 07:59I agree although I wouldn’t be opposed to holding onto him through this final contract year and utilizing him as either 1) the starting LT or 2) quality backup swing tackle. Unless there is a spectacular deal on the table, I agree. How about Rasheed for Nico Collins?lupedafiasco wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 08:58Id be surprised if Walker is traded. Offensive line is just too valuable to trade. Right now youre 6 deep so you have room for error or injury. That goes away if you move on from Walker.
Agreed. The amount of money that goes out to average to below average LTs is insane. Walker will get paid in 2026 which means we will likely get a 3rd or 4th round comp pick for Walker.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 08:58Id be surprised if Walker is traded. Jets could use a LT, we could use a Garrett Wilson.NCF wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 09:34Unless there is a spectacular deal on the table, I agree. I dont put too much stock into the compensatory picks under Gutenbumst. He signs players in FA to his credit for better or for worse. TT only looked to sign players that wouldnt factor into the equation more often than not like released players. Gutenbumst goes right after guys coming off their rookie deals that are young and ascending.go pak go wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 09:44Agreed. The best option I could see on Walker being traded is in October at the deadline and a team is desperate and we are comfortable that Morgan is our guy.
Right now it is way too early to move Walker.
I think he's conscious of the formula but he isn't ruled by it. For example, I don't think he'd go out of his way to screw up a potential R3 comp pick to sign a middling FA but I also don't think he'd hesitate to go after a guy he liked at the cost of a latter round pick.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 10:12I dont put too much stock into the compensatory picks under Gutenbumst. right, I forgot, it requires 3 seasons for our first round picks to even start, I need a frontal lobotomygo pak go wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 09:44Agreed. 100%. We needed at least one more guy. Sign a guy and he should be ready tplug in. Draft a guy is a crapshoot for a team with a SB window. still in favor of drafting another with a 3/4/5 round pick.
Yes you do because if Morgan starts this year at LT like I suggested that would be starting after 1 season there bud.Yoop wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 12:41right, I forgot, it requires 3 seasons for our first round picks to even start, I need a frontal lobotomygo pak go wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 09:44Agreed.
