In a shocking turn of events, it's starting to look like Clark has a better shot than Adams this week.

Rap just said that "it doesn't look great from the feel I get" re: Adams' chances for Sunday.

I mean Clark is a beast. I remember, I think it was us against Atlanta in 2018 where was down a long time and we thought he was going to be IR'd the rest of the year. Two series later....dude is back in the game.

Practicing on the padded work day is big. Good step in the right direction. I really didn't give him a shot, but I think this is starting to look more like 50-50 if not better.

Would be great to have him for Kamara/Murray, but I hope they don't rush him back and have a setback. Our brass is usually pretty good about that, so hopefully they hold form.

Snacks is visiting the Seahawks, would have been awesome to sign him yesterday and shove him in there Sunday to clog space.

I guess we now know why they didn’t IR Clark...

Having Kenny will certainly help with Kamara and getting some more inside pressure on old man Brees. But I wonder if he'll be on a pitch count. But I was pretty pleased with Keke last week. He's going to be good. This will be a better test of our O-line this week. But hopefully both Davenport and Hendrickson are our or still gimpy. Then we can focus on Jordan. Big game for Lazard to step up in.

Agreed on Keke. He is the only one has really shown any hope on that defensive line. I would put Adams as the next least stinky guy last Sunday.

But my goodness Dean Lowry. When Clark plays, Keke better be ahead of Lowry. In fact, everyone should be ahead of Lowry.

I think Dean Lowry is showing up to be Gute's worst contract signing.

Lowry is in good company with Graham and Turner.

Ervin isn't on the injury report, so safe to assume he cleared concussion protocol basically right away? That would be good. I'd like to see him doing his jet sweep motion and utilizing the versatility of his speed threat the same way the Raiders used Ruggs last week, which was effective without Ruggs actually contributing much.

That's the assumption that I would make. If he was in protocol, I feel like that would have to be listed.

Is this the first week that Billy is a full participant all days?

It will be interesting what happens on that Oline now that everyone is healthy.

A few plays nicely analyzed:

So, if I understand correctly, we have used up our PS call-ups on Lovett and Barnes, right? So, if we want either to play again we need to call them up to the active roster. Also, I suspect if Adams doesn't play, we will need to call up a WR for emergency purposes, so I would expect a few roster moves before game time, right?

I think it makes sense to activate Kris Barnes. He has absolutely earned it.

I am really hesitatnt about Lovett. I just don't think he has played above and beyond to get that spot right now though we could do it from a numbers standpoint. I hope Deguara can go in a limited capacity. They could also use Jace Stone Hands Berger as a more dominant Hback role for Sunday night.

I agree. I don't think Lovett is a must move up guy, but Barnes definitely seems to be. I think our roster only sits at 51, though, unless they are keeping a spot ready for EQ after this week.

My appetite to continue researching storylines heading into this game is waning as ever other post I find is about Taysom Hill...

Barnes deserves a roster spot. I think he loses his starting spot when Martin returns but he hasnt been bad. I will say some people are suffering from CM3 syndrome at ILB where weve been so used to seeing garbage that he looks better than he is.

Lovett is expendable. Deguara is obviously the real deal. Lovett is a serviceable FB but nothing special. Not a team in the league will poach him.

Maybe its just my firm belief that the Saints rely on the dome crowd at home, drew brees is old and washed, and Sean Payton is an overrated coach...but i like our chances to show off on Sunday night.

Sure Kamara could be a problem, and they could be hyper motivated coming off their loss...but i like where our team is right now.

Meta Rodgers continues to distribute his Packer city lightning to all of his button men and rolls in Nola.

Looking forward to the talking heads discussing how long the Packers can keep their 40-point game streak going after this week
