Who would have thought the first connection to Cobb would be from Love.

That's some winning good money if those were bets.

Every coach and every player shares responsibility for this loss today. That was a top to bottom poor showing. Everyone shoulders some blame.

Need to reevaluate how we prepare for the first game of the season. That said, regroup and slay the Lions.

Going into the game, I sort of expected this (because Florida). Plus it's week 1, which is another reason why I shouldn't be concerned. But the one thing that I won't lie did concern me a bit was that Rodgers seemed sort of reminiscent of 2017-2018 Rodgers. I don't know why, but that's what he reminded me of. Maybe it was because of all of the long throws that didn't connect, or all of the running around in the pocket only to have the play seemingly break down. I'm inclined to ignore it and chalk it up to week 1 in Florida. But I guess it is possible that if Rodgers spent his offseason focusing on being a bitch, and not football, it might show up like this, with him regressing to what had become his normal play style.

at least our OL isn't biased, they've shown crappy blocking for both QB's.

As an early skeptic of Joe Barry, I am pretty petrified right now about the defense.

Also we should still cut Kevin King. So much for coming out and redeeming himself.

The 5 million dollars donated to Kevin King could have purchased us the services of KJ Wright, plus we have had a million left over to spare.

thats a understatement, soft coverage, missed assignments, we looked like Robots, ILB's acted frozen in there zones, didn't fill run lanes, and where slow with side to side pursuit, I hope it's just a bunch of rusty starters that sat through most of the PS games, terrible pass rush, we basically sucked at everything.

A few members didn't want Barry, and our first choice turned us down, we have far to much talent on defense to look this bad, Sullivan looked confused the whole game, didn't even know his coverage assignment on that TD throw, and there seemed to be a screw up like that on every defensive play, wont take anything from Winston and the Saints, but we sure made it easy for them.

OK, I was only watchng RedZone so I didn't get anything like a full picture. But what I did see was plenty of things going wrong, and I also saw a lot of players standing around after the play (and occasionally during it) looking at each other and wondering what went wrong, and what I didn't see was any team leaders getting in the faces of the incompetent and uninterested and telling them loudly and clearly what they were not doing.

I do wonder, if the supposed team leader spends the off season dissing the whole organisation, does that have a significant negative effect on team spirit? And if so, can it be put right? The Lions match will tell us a lot. If things are no better, then the season may be done.

And how does this affect Rodgers' trade value?
