Makes NO sense to go for that. None!!!!!
Disagree, but why not put Jones out there on 3rd and 4th down?
Dunno, but passing on the points to tie it up is not defensible. We've been stopped on 4th & 1 with better calls.
Thought it was a terrible call. Williams just gave you 10 on the ground.

Championship caliber my $%@# ass. This game just confirms my suspicions. This team is bottom tier of the playoff teams and the reason why is they aren’t physical. On defense there isn’t a single player maybe outside of Amos that can tackle. These guys all tackle worse that a group of amputees.
On offense they’re scared to run the ball on short yardage situations and to be honest for good reason because in the past they’ve sucked at it.

If I'm Indy, I run it here. No brainer.

If they would've gone for the tie there, Indy had plenty of time to get in FG range to win it.

Not everyday I agree with Lupe, but I suspected this team is soft about two weeks ago. Especially on D.
Absolutely no physicality at all, every single player on defense (outside of Jaire) has regressed, that's on Pettine though.

Not if your D is dying.
That's more reason *not* to do it -- another risk of not converting that 4th is the D will have to defend an even shorter field.
The risks vastly outweighed the reward, against the much more favorable odds of tying it.

Indy's going to run out the clock by constantly holding and using up 5 seconds a pop...

Yup. Just a soft team. Enough finesse to make the post season, that’ll be about it.
Teams that are scared to run the ball on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 don’t win multiple playoff games

I knew we were gonna give up a huge play on 3rd and 20 as soon as I saw that prevent defense. We play and coach so scared.

Agreed. They can barely beat teams with losing records let alone the better ones.
