The Way a Packers Forum Should Be

Yes. What killed them is they scored FGs instead of TDs.Scott4Pack wrote: β03 Jan 2021 18:18Give da Bears credit. They did a lot of things right today. They had a good game plan on offense. It almost worked.
I wonder if they didn't know...?Crazylegs Starks wrote: β03 Jan 2021 18:19Bears should be kneeling it, they're officially in the playoffs. This is just risking injury...
I hope they keep Nagy, Pace and Trubisky.Christo wrote: β03 Jan 2021 18:49Now what do the Bears do? They make the playoffs in the second worst way possible [ whoever wins the east is the worst ] Do you keep Nagy and Pace, or start fresh ?Scott4Pack wrote: β03 Jan 2021 18:18Give da Bears credit. He is a terrible tackler. It won't break my heart if another team signs him when his contract is up.lupedafiasco wrote: β03 Jan 2021 19:50Kings tackling was terrible tonight. Quite a few times he just threw his shoulder instead of wrapping up. He doesnβt he even look. Heads down and diving with his shoulder.
Yes, Mack can make the best tackles look like a revolving door.lupedafiasco wrote: β03 Jan 2021 19:51He did well enough. He saw a lot of Mack tonight. Iβm fine with his performance and Iβm not a Turner fan.
Nagy told Pam Oliver that he wasn't getting score updates, but someone in the front office should've called down to the field and let him know it was mootPugger wrote: β03 Jan 2021 20:19I wonder if they didn't know...?Crazylegs Starks wrote: β03 Jan 2021 18:19Bears should be kneeling it, they're officially in the playoffs. Sorry but it didn't work. We won yes but they got into the scoring zone more times than us. In the scoring zone you play a different def due to using the goal line etcYoHoChecko wrote: β03 Jan 2021 19:00Don't need to, no. But that was the choice we made today and it worked.
We showed last week that we don't NEED to do that. We sold out to stop the run and crowd the line last week, despite playing a team with dangerous downfield weapons.
This week we played a QB known for making mistakes and a team that is, erm, questionably coached. And the game plan looked like it was to gamble that they couldn't sustain drives. The Bears did MUCH BETTER than we probably planned at sustaining those drives. But they still couldn't finish enough drives, which was the plan.
Okay - no idea.Pckfn23 wrote: β03 Jan 2021 19:15Good thing games are not won by the team with the most first downs, rushing yards, or passing yards!bud fox wrote: β03 Jan 2021 18:41No it wasn'tgo pak go wrote: β03 Jan 2021 18:38
Stop qualifying it. Truby and Montgomery have been very good in December.
The Bears performed the worst in December/January to the Packers. Twice.
Our offense could not end it because MVS dropped it. The defense didn't let the Bears back in when they had every chance too.
Very impressive performance today.
Bears beat us in first downs, rushing yards, passing yards.
The difference is red zone - packers 4/4, bears 1/5.
This is where good QBs show the difference.
Very good defensive performance today!
BUT RODGERS PLAYED GOD-MODE AM I RIGHT?!bud fox wrote: β03 Jan 2021 20:52Sorry but it didn't work. We won yes but they got into the scoring zone more times than us. We won because Trubisky is bad and couldn't finish - also possible our red zone def played well. But it had nothing to do with allowing them to walk down the field and get into scoring position more times than us. If anything it was worse because we had a tired def in the redzone.
It was bad by def except for red zone but would have to watch to see if that just wasn't trubisky.
Against the titans we won in passing yards, rushing yards, red zone attempts and the match.go pak go wrote: β03 Jan 2021 20:57BUT RODGERS PLAYED GOD-MODE AM I RIGHT?!bud fox wrote: β03 Jan 2021 20:52Sorry but it didn't work. Glad we have the narrative back in order that this team is garbage and doesn't deserve Rodgers.
I mean the Titans game was nearly a once in a decade performance. They were that good. To follow that up with a solid 16 point performance with 3 of those points coming on fumbled PR is pretty darned good.bud fox wrote: β03 Jan 2021 21:26Against the titans we won in passing yards, rushing yards, red zone attempts and the match.go pak go wrote: β03 Jan 2021 20:57BUT RODGERS PLAYED GOD-MODE AM I RIGHT?!bud fox wrote: β03 Jan 2021 20:52

It was easily the best defensive performance.
It was nothing like today's game in which we only won in red zone conversion which is often tied to the quality of the QB.
*If we play like we did against the titans we win the Superbowl. We do not if we play like we did against the bears.
Historically in the playoffs we have not been able to stop teams from scoring in the red zone. I don't like that the bears got into the red zone more than us.go pak go wrote: β03 Jan 2021 21:29I mean the Titans game was nearly a once in a decade performance. They were that good. We arenβt gunna play every game, every quarter, perfect. Weβve shown we can piece together entire games and yes, results matter. Even gifting them the ball at the 20 on a muffed punt, we only gave up 16.bud fox wrote: β03 Jan 2021 21:26Against the titans we won in passing yards, rushing yards, red zone attempts and the match.go pak go wrote: β03 Jan 2021 20:57BUT RODGERS PLAYED GOD-MODE AM I RIGHT?!bud fox wrote: β03 Jan 2021 20:52
