Rodgers best QB of all time
You'll get no argument from me. He's the best I've ever seen. We all better cherish it while we got him. :king:

Give da Bears credit. They did a lot of things right today. They had a good game plan on offense. It almost worked.
Yes. What killed them is they scored FGs instead of TDs.

I wonder if they didn't know...?

Now what do the Bears do? They make the playoffs in the second worst way possible [ whoever wins the east is the worst ] Do you keep Nagy and Pace, or start fresh ?
I hope they keep Nagy, Pace and Trubisky. 8-)

I was honestly very impressed with our defense today. Wish their tackling was better. But beyond that first drive, I thought our defense did a great job. Just failed to capitalize on a few drives.
I thought our corners, at least, came to play and tackled versus just laying a shoulder into the ball carrier. King was bringing it, for sure.
Kings tackling was terrible tonight. Quite a few times he just threw his shoulder instead of wrapping up. He doesn’t he even look. Heads down and diving with his shoulder.
He is a terrible tackler. It won't break my heart if another team signs him when his contract is up.

Sounds like Turner will be LT
Turner did okay but he was beaten a few times today.
He did well enough. He saw a lot of Mack tonight. I’m fine with his performance and I’m not a Turner fan.
Yes, Mack can make the best tackles look like a revolving door.

I understand not wanting to give up big play but you don't need to play so loose and off underneath you can just ensure you have cover over the top.
Don't need to, no. But that was the choice we made today and it worked.

We showed last week that we don't NEED to do that. We sold out to stop the run and crowd the line last week, despite playing a team with dangerous downfield weapons.

This week we played a QB known for making mistakes and a team that is, erm, questionably coached. And the game plan looked like it was to gamble that they couldn't sustain drives. The Bears did MUCH BETTER than we probably planned at sustaining those drives. But they still couldn't finish enough drives, which was the plan.
Sorry but it didn't work. We won yes but they got into the scoring zone more times than us. In the scoring zone you play a different def due to using the goal line etc

We won because Trubisky is bad and couldn't finish - also possible our red zone def played well. But it had nothing to do with allowing them to walk down the field and get into scoring position more times than us. If anything it was worse because we had a tired def in the redzone.

It was bad by def except for red zone but would have to watch to see if that just wasn't trubisky.

Stop qualifying it. Truby and Montgomery have been very good in December.

The Bears performed the worst in December/January to the Packers. Twice.

Our offense could not end it because MVS dropped it. The defense didn't let the Bears back in when they had every chance too.

Very impressive performance today.
No it wasn't

Bears beat us in first downs, rushing yards, passing yards.

The difference is red zone - packers 4/4, bears 1/5.
This is where good QBs show the difference.
Good thing games are not won by the team with the most first downs, rushing yards, or passing yards! :rotf:

Very good defensive performance today!
Okay - no idea.

Today was the last game the Packers wore their white uniforms in 2020.

The NFC is the home team for the SB this year. We lost 1 game in our white uniforms in 2020 and it was in overtime vs the Colts.

Against the titans we won in passing yards, rushing yards, red zone attempts and the match.
It was easily the best defensive performance.

It was nothing like today's game in which we only won in red zone conversion which is often tied to the quality of the QB.

*If we play like we did against the titans we win the Superbowl. We do not if we play like we did against the bears.

I mean the Titans game was nearly a once in a decade performance. They were that good. To follow that up with a solid 16 point performance with 3 of those points coming on fumbled PR is pretty darned good.

Historically in the playoffs we have not been able to stop teams from scoring in the red zone. I don't like that the bears got into the red zone more than us.

Hopefully this team shows that 2010 all round performance we saw against the titans as I don't see any team stopping the packers with that Def.

We aren’t gunna play every game, every quarter, perfect. We’ve shown we can piece together entire games and yes, results matter. Even gifting them the ball at the 20 on a muffed punt, we only gave up 16.

Enjoy today, hope for even better tomorrow. Sure we can improve everywhere, but we just beat a playoff team on the road by 19 points. Enjoy the damn day.

12 more quarters to go. Just go along for the ride and don’t forget to smile.
