Does the Dodgers 2020 World Series championship deserve an asterisk?

Don't they all?

In 50 years the Brewers have made the playoffs 7 times.

Brewers made it to 3 league Championship series ............ won the league pennant in 1982. Lost in 2011 and 2018.

The 1982 Harvey's Wallbangers are still the premier all-time Brewers team (were up 3-2 in the 6th inning of Game 7 in the 1982 World Series versus the St. Louis Cardinals).

Brewers now have 4 starting OFs. Signed Jackie Bradley Jr. Going to be interesting to see how they all get ABs. Sounds like no DH.

This team has a knack of getting players lately, and then plugging either that player, or another player, into a position that is not of their normal spot.

This still applies.

So we now have Kolton Wong at 2b. That'll push Hiura to 1b. Definitely a defensive upgrade. But I don't know where the offense is going to come from with this team. Hiura is going to have to come up big. Need big rebound from Yelich, Cain, and Narvaez. Then it's whoever is going to play at 3b and SS. Urias, Arcia, Robertson? I'm not overly pumped.

I think the rotation should be decent if we get a good year out of Lindblom and Lauer. Peralta/Williams/Suter/Hader should be good in the bullpen. Don't ask me about any of the other relievers though.

Yes they do, and then they also do something where they have like 5 starting outfielders and no competent 1B or something like that.
Yeeeup

Ugh. I'm really over the brewers approach at the dish. They as a team suck at hitting. The pitching has been ok early (real early) but this team struggles to put it in play. Hiura is going to struggle unless he learns to use the whole field

Looks like Arcia is on the move. Talks of a trade. Could be Padres if Tatis is going to miss significant time.

Super nice win this afternoon, but so far I think all the talk about our pin is a little overrated. We'll see what we do tomorrow against the Cards.

So guessing this is why they wouldn’t include Corbin Burnes for Manny Machado a few years back.

Man, hope he can keep is rolling a legit ace level for a long time, Brewers haven’t had that in so long.

40 strikeouts, no walks. That is crazy. If this team can find some consistent run support, they can go a long way. Hopefully Wong, Cain, and Yelich can come back healthy and productive. But nice to see guys like McKinney, Robertson, and Peterson producing. Shaw's cooled down a bit, but still a very pleasant surprise.

Very surprised indeed with this years performance so far. Having a great time listening to the games on the radio too.

Another solid outing by Woodruff and another series win. This team looking pretty solid if they can get Cain and Yelich back healthy and producing.

Eleven in a row without much from Yelich and Cain out. :) They have been on fire since Adames came to town. Thanks Tampa! Too fun to be a Milwaukee fan right now.

I hear they are on the lookout for bullpen help. Have to wonder if they'll try to find a bat someplace as well.
