I am really excited for Darnell Savage and Adrian Amos this postseason.

Savage has the opportunity to breakout and start being at that upper echelon of safeties. He has been that good the 2nd half of the year. Keep it moving Darnell.

Ew.

2014 season opener against Richard Sherman Davante's rookie year. Ditto for the playoff game if they were counting that.

I believe Charles Tillman was in 2015, so there is two games and we won one

Kyler Fuller in 2018, two losses

Xavier Rhodes in 2017, we won one, lost one.

So that is 7 games, I count two wins.

I am guessing either a CB or Davante or Aaron missed one of those games and I'm missing another game somewhere. Too lazy to go each game.
Yep, context helps.

Here is what I get.

2014 - Sherman (L), Revis (W) - Playoffs - Sherman (L)
2015 - Norman (L), Peterson (L) - Playoffs - Peterson (L)
2017 - Rhodes (L) (Rodgers didn't start second game)
2018 - Fuller (L & W), Gilmore (L)

I get to 2-6. 2-8, with playoffs, if going by AP 1st-Team.

context does matter, during that time Devonte and Adams constituted our offensive impact players, when a defense only has to devote resources to stop one receiver then it is really hard to score more points then the other team

Don't really care about that stat. However, I am very interested to see that match-up unfold this weekend. Two great players on a huge stage manno a manno. Should be fun to watch.

I personally think it will be more a factor whether Rodgers is willing to throw Adams' way while covered by Ramsey. Rodgers tends to be a bit more risk averse in those scenarios.

Even if a combination of Rodgers/Ramsey does shut Adams down, I still think we win as there are other options to make this Packer offense click.

I think the real matchup is going to be Jones and Tonyan against their LBs. They aren’t very good. Another is MVS against their other CB and possibly beating Taylor Rapp deep. He’s on the slower side.

I agree. I think Jones and Tonyan could make this game unbearable for the Rams. We need to get a ground attack going and Tonyan would be a bonus.

I would also love Dillon to get the ball to beat up Donald but I am not getting my hopes up.

Add in Lazard and I think we have more than enough weapons to get this done. We need to be willing to play within the offense and take what they give up. Also try to scheme Adams open or get them to roll coverage his way and exploit it with other guys. I think Jones in the passing game could be huge on Saturday.

I also think running that Jet motion all damn day to keep Floyd honest will help our OL out, too, and probably even give Donald some fits.

100%. We need to be willing to do what is necessary to help the offensive line. I hope we did some self scout with the bye week and are willing to break tendencies, whatever they may be.
