Fair question and probably Kelce (he’s just that good). But I’m definitely out.

I could possibly stomach it if we trade back to the 20’s and get another 2nd, but yeah. Not a huge Kincaid fan, Meyer a solid to good prospect, by no means generational.

My very way to early big board holding up well. Was very high on Murphy and Wilson early in.

If a 1 and a 3 could get us to 10. I’d do it for JSN, Wilson, Johnson, Murphy, in that order.

Yeah. Just turn that 15 into a 38-43 and a 60-80 and take one in each range. And then you’d still have draft capital left over. Just can’t get behind it at 15.

looks like 5 top 5 to me in 2018 just from your clip anyway, Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, Rosen, and Lamar Jackson.

I think there are a couple other classes with 4, but 3 I'd bet is the average.

I was thinking about which position GB will target in round 1 and you can make a compelling case for several
But one position would be a strategic pick as much as a needs pick- and that's EDGE

GB is deep in talks with Rashan Gary and his reps and depending on how close they are $$ the Packers might need some...leverage.
In that case, drafting an EDGE high makes some sense- it insures against those contract talks going south. From all reports, Packers want Gary and Gary wants to be a Packer - so I'm not sounding any alarms- just talking about another consideration for pick allocation

Yeah EDGE is devoutly a premium position with lots of good draft options this year.

I hadn’t thought about it as insurance against losing Gary because we have to keep Gary, right? We have to!

But yeah it may help negotiations feel less desperate.

Murphy or Smith would be tough to pass up for me. LVN I could come around on.

I also think Ojulari in round two would be a stellar addition to our group, bringing more of a pure pass rush specialist with some refinement ready to go from day one.

Round one I’m pretty locked into JSN, Edge, or OT. With an outside consideration for a DT again if there’s a got they love. Would prefer a trade back if it’s not JSN, Smith, or Murphy. Which means I’m likely to be disappointed

thanks I see that now, thought Jackson went a lot higher for some reason.

Another possible CB ==> S conversion prospect, this guy allegedly had some spotty coverage but is a strong tackler, big, and fast.


Plus a cool name. And played for Georgia on both defense and ST when they won it all in 2021 (grad transfer to Mich St)

Just heard on a PFF podcast that when you take the average of top 5 individual GPS speeds of the receivers, Jonathan Mingo is 0.5 mph faster than Jalen Hyatt; faster than Addison, Johnston, and Flowers.

At 220-225 pounds.

Great bit of context in this year especially. This draft is just swimming in low percentage size exceptions. Ron Wolf said similar things about avoiding becoming a team of exceptions.

I think in a reloading/transition year, it’s doubly important. Build up the roster with prototypes when you have a breadth of needs and only consider exceptions when you’re looking for more narrow and specific roles.

I’m adhering to prototypes this year wherever I can.
