Still not going to read a single thing into this. In fact, I’ll go a step further. We might not know before FA begins (a milestone that Guty had put out there). Guty had said that they would like to “know” before FA. But even if they will know by then, it doesn’t mean that the Packers and/or Rodgers need to come public with any potential trade or retirement. They will pick the timing.
Yeah, it agonizes the fan base. But it’s there info to deal with, not ours.

And as was said, Gute probably already knows the intention of Rodgers, the teams that are interested, and everything else concerning this

The reason why you want to know before free agency begins is because it allows the other teams to pursue Rodgers ahead of other veteran quarterbacks. It also allows other teams to get Rodgers on their squad and then quickly pivot to sign additional players to make their team feel they are all in to go for a ring.
The reason there is a timeline for the Packers is because the options start to decline the longer and longer this drags out. The less options, the lower the trade market value for Rodgers.
That being said, it is not FA yet. We still have time.

Some of you are acting as though we know anything else and it's the Packers/Rodgers who are slowing things down. Lamar Jackson is unknown. Daniel Jones is unknown. The Jets and the Raiders and the Saints and the Commanders and the Bucs have unknown QB situations.
This is a very normal timeline. I'm quite sick of having offseasons dominated by the "will they-won't they" Rodgers romance, but that doesn't mean that right now, this moment, it has to be resolved.
The combine will be when the teams talk and express their interest and the Packers get a really good read on who is interested or not. The weeks between the combine and free agency are when those plans and conversations start to come to fruition, and the "tampering period" is when the news typically starts to break.
What we know and what the main players know will never be perfectly in sync. But as I said, we are JUST NOW entering the time period where things start falling into place. The sense of urgency beyond that is misplaced.

its been over 50 days since the packers last game and the guy still isnt sure if he wants to come to work or not. Time to ship the little man off.

not sure why you feel the need to degrade Rodgers with every post, seriously it says far more about you then it does Rodgers.
as yoho said, the time frame for Rodgers to have a conversation with Guty is right on schedule, you, the media and some others are the ones freaking out over this, and the comments concerning Rodgers are so over the top.

Nope. Guty said a reply from Rodgers by March 15 (start of FA) would be nice. So Guty isn’t even drawing a firm line in the sand yet. Of course he’s playing nice. But the fact is that Rodgers hasn’t passed any milestone that Guty put out there.

This year, I think that Guty realizes that it is less taken for granted that Rodgers would play. He might choose to retire. For that matter, he might want to play for another team. (The Packers had a QB like that a few years ago.) So, Guty gives some freedom to Rodgers. And after all these years, that is how the Packers would approach Rodgers. Give him all the freedom that he needs, aside from putting up “gray” markers on the calendar. Don’t give your HOF QB a black and white line in the sand. The Packers probably have one, if they are truly moving on with Love. But they don’t need to communicate that to Rodgers (yet), let alone putting it out there in the press.

I think that's a huge part of it. Rodgers' play was one of the reasons why the Packers missed the playoffs last year, and Gute knows it.

I mean, we didn't learn anything new about the Rodgers situation, but he talked about emerging leaders, Mason Crosby, and with Larry McCarren pointed out that the TE, EDGE, and CB classes are deeper than in previous years; though y'all probably already know that because I've been saying it. Lets all remember these questions started when the packers drafted a 1st round qb with Rodgers still on the books and no indication of impending retirement.
All the conjecture and supposed issues are media created due to having a young first round qb on the roster as a back up.
