Brewers got some bats in the last month! Time to pair them with those arms!

What a crappy game to lose last night. Up 4-0 into the 7th with an active no-hitter in the works and the bullpen blows it up. I turned it off after the 6th and went to bed (early flight in morn). Woke up expecting to read about a win excited to see if they carried the no-no all the way through. Instead, reading about an ugly loss. Ugh

bullpen been having some issues as of late. Can see why they wanted to add to it. Between injuries and Covid, might be a bit dicey for a while.

Yeah, I watched that lame 7th inning, then also saw us come back and tie it in the 8th, thankfully didn't watch the end.

Lauer on COVID IL, that makes 7. And Axford is done for the year with a significant elbow injury. So much for his comeback.

Always a better day of work when you can watch the Brewers beat up on the Cubs.

Way to kick off the 4 game series and first of the double header today.

Only thing better than beating the Cubs in a given day is beating them twice. :cheer: :guitar: :dude:

Brewers gunna be a damn tough out in October with our 3 pitchers when you really only need 3 starting pitchers.

Might I remind you the reason we never acquired Manny Machado a few years back on our NLCS run is that we wouldn’t include this guy.

The Brewers have both Cy Young (thanks to DeGrom injury) and MVP candidates. Pretty awesome.

Best chance Brewers have had to really compete this year since Fielder, Braun, Weeks, Hart, Sheets and Sabathia. Because we have hands down the best pitching in baseball right now.

After a 15-2 embarrassment to the Cubs on April 23rd, the Brewers have now beaten them 9 straight times.

…with some pretty impressive shellackings going back the other way.

Really nice win for the Brewers last night. Multiple innings of good bullpen work after Peralta went down early, clutch hitting, and a great response to Counsell's ejection. All against a division rival in their house, to boot!

This team has really taken on a fun and "family" type personality since the all-star break. You can see the jubilance and excitement they have for one another as they erupt from the dugout to congratulate one another after a big play. They are actually starting to remind of the Bucks team down the stretch. This could be a fun fall!
