2023 packers positivity only 🪡
Alright let’s try something different here. Post anything positive about this team here. If you want to sh!t on this team there’s literally every single other thread on this forum for you.
I was pleased to see MLF finally use Aaron Jones the way he should be used. Yeah, he had the unfortunate fumble but, for the most part, Jones kept the offense on schedule and balanced. ‘Bout damn time.

And related to the above, how many times have forum members rightly said Jones needs to get 20+ touches? A lot!
The O-line blocked better in the run game, and not just because of Nijman. Myers appeared to play better.
Love, for the most part, had better footwork so the throws to the deeper out routes didn't fall short.

Now this is something we can work with.
Oline has been pass blocking well.
Def looked fast today.
Receivers made some big catches.
Musgrave looks fast and fluid.

Colby Wooden and Karl Brooks.
Watson fought for the ball on the badly underthrown should-have-been-a-TD pass.
Romeo with a great hands catch coming back to the ball on a slightly late throw.

Love played better. Had some real nice throws. He obviously can still improve but he did what he needed to do. Drops and ridiculous penalties hurt him some.
I watched all of the Bengals/Bills game tonight. Burrow and Allen also had some !@#$ poor throws. Chase beat his guy by a mile deep and Burrow underthrew him badly. It happens to some of the supposed best also.
BTW the Packers can Kick Picketts ass next week if MLF doesn't get out coached by Tomlin
Go Pack go
I was glad to see Jones as close to full strength as he's been all season, being able to run the ball helps Love settle in, he looked better yesterday, little more accurate, little more poise in the pocket.
this is the best the OL has looked all season, hopefully this also continues,
was impressed with the fans, hung in till the end whooping it up in the rain, Winning puts a smile on everyone's face, great win.

As has been said already, this is how the O should look: solid ground game that keeps the ball moving forward, a passing game that takes what the defense gives with some long completions sprinkled in. More of this. Please.
Our OL played well for the most part, we faced a game-wrecker but didn't let him wreck the game like Hutch and Crosby did. Coaches finally played Rhyan over Newman, didn't notice him like I often unfortunately notice Newman. Bulaga says he got good movement in the run.
I was excited as hell when I saw AJJ come out of the tunnel as a starter and after seeing him pick off that pass. Valentine had a great game too. Wild to have two rookie seventh-round guys step into starting spots and look this good.
Our DL rotation is good. Clark, Slaton, Wyatt all playing very solid ball, Brooks and Wooden are very talented depth pieces. Campbell's play seems to be benefitting. I saw McDuffie shoot the gap and get TFLs, which I am not used to seeing out of GB linebackers.
Nixon finally had a long return!
It was good to see our fans happy, lots of "go pack go!" chanting after the game.

Continue to be optimistic watching Jordan and receivers and Musgrave mature. Defense gets kudos for shutting down the Rams offense. Special Teams gets kudos as well. Looking forward the offense mature in the future.

I like Isaiah McDuffie. He has football instincts.
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
Jones hasn't been able to play much until yesterday so we can't rail on Matt too much about that. I'll blame his fumble on the rain. I liked that MLF had both Jones and Dillon out there together in the back field a fee times. I'd like to see more of that.
Walker looks like a decent run blocker.Crazylegs Starks wrote: ↑05 Nov 2023 20:25And related to the above, how many times have forum members rightly said Jones needs to get 20+ touches? A lot!

Clearly not.
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff
