I sure hope Bisaccia shows some improvements on the Special Teams runback and coverage squads. Don't expect the offense to mask over the weaknesses on Special Teams and Defense. Busaccia needs to pick up the slack for the defense.
This reliance on winning the game with the last offensive possession or even the 4th quarter mentality lacks credibility. The Rodgers era proved that wouldn't work without a great defense.
We need more Dallas - Packers playoff game performances. Humiliate the tar out of Jerrah fo ev ah!

Hopefully the defense is better this season. It should have both better coaching and talent.
We need a new kicker. That would help the special teams' rankings considerably.

I’ll wait to see what Carlson does in camp. I will say better competition should have been brought in. What this looks like to me is the illusion of competition to push Carlson. There is no job on the line IMO.
Cancelled by the forum elites.
I tend to agree with you but I also honestly think Carlson will be better this year. New (and presumably better) LS, a year under his belt, and another camp to refine his technique. I do like what I’ve heard through OTAs.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑07 Jul 2024 14:52I’ll wait to see what Carlson does in camp. I will say better competition should have been brought in. I think we are doing the right amount of "adding competition". We took a veteran (albiet he stinks) plus a flier to compete. Honestly you can't really invest too much more beyond that. We need our cap to go to players that can actually be on the 53. A legit veteran kicker would expect gauranteed money to show up in August.
I like you get the feeling that the front office is standing behind Carlson and letting him play and develop. So far Carlson isn't winning because the competition stinks, but more because he is actually making the kicks. The game winners he has been kicking and making with teammates shouting and throwing water, etc. is encouraging. Especially when it was Carlson being the only one who has been making them.
