Brian Flores and Steve Spagnuolo are the only 2 DCs I know that run this scheme to perfection. Where they just put so many people at the line and you have no clue where it’s coming from.

Kind of the defense I wanted over the cover 3 style we ended up with.

Darnold has been inaccurate without all that much pressure in his face. AR has found a rhythm, and quick passing game is working. Still a ballgame.

The Vikes defense gets the MOST out of its talent ... unlike another NFC North team we all know.

Minnesota is very fortunate that Flores has been "blackballed" as the talent is not commensurate with the results. He is an excellent Defensive Coordinator. Too bad he wasn't available when Joe Barry was working his magic in Green Bay.

The only saving grace when it comes to the Vikes 5-0 start is that it will result in a worse 1st round pick when they inevitably flame out, and they have very little draft capital in 2025.

And yet, the Only Super Bowls the Packers have won have been with a top defense. Of the top 20 offenses in scoring in NFL history, only one has won the Super Bowl.
