What can I say...all is, once again, right in the world.
In what turned out to be an overall difficult week of picks, your humble contest administrator was one of four who managed a meager four of six picks to top the scoring...BUT I was the ONLY competitor to also nail the upset pick thus taking this week's top honors! Yay, me! The upset pick also vaulted yours truly to the top of the overall standings among a logjam of four currently atop the leaderboard with 12 total picks. Again, the bottom two weeks have been vetted out for each contestant indicating an adjusted total.
Of note, and this is pretty impressive, @Papa John is the picture of consistency. He's managed to pick three correct picks every week thus far. It sure makes vetting out his low two weeks pretty simple.
If this keeps up, he'll need to change his name from Papa John to Steady Eddie!Now, on to the picks!The rules are simple:
- Choose an outright winner from the four select games of the week
- Choose an outright winner from the Packers matchup
The upset pick can be from the previous five games already in play or any of the other weekly NFL matchups on the schedule, so long as your chosen underdog victor was listed as a kickoff dawg. For reference, a listing of Vegas odds can be found here.
- Choose an outright upset winner from any weekly matchup
I will maintain a cumulative tally of correct choices with the winner declared at the end of the regular season. You'll get a mulligan for two weeks, be it forgotten picks or a bad week, but the rest are on you. The winner will be declared at season's end for the participant with the most correct picks. In the event of a tie, the participant with the most correct upset picks will be declared the winner.
