From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
I’ll say this: the Packers were somewhat lucky to catch the Rams when they were so banged up on offense. They are a dangerous bunch now that they’re healthy. Love seeing them taking it to the Vikings defense.

Yeah, we got lucky there. Especially Nacua is a joy to watch. Such a fluid mover, reminds me of Davante...
Vikings with 9 penalties, a lot of defensive holds and interferences.
With Darrisaw injured, the pass protection fortress is crumbling and Darnold is immediately off his game.
Uh oh, Vikings fans are going to be talking Hockey and Basketball here soon!

In a game they called 15 penalties, they missed THAT one!?
The loss of Darrisaw hurts the Vikes a lot - No more 5-6 second pockets for Darnold to lounge in. They do hit a soft patch in their schedule, so they may get him back in time to compete.
At least Justin Jefferson got his 100 yard game...

I only saw a little bit of 1st half and start of 2nd and I went to bed. We fished from sun up to sun down with our boys yesterday on their day off of school. I'm getting old.
Was pretty exciting from what i saw. We were fortunate to catch Rams when we did, but I'd be fine facing them later in the year too as they were kind of fortunate to catch us when they did too earlier in the year.
I saw the replay of the non Face mask call, ooff, that was pretty bad. it was obvious, i mean you can't get any more obvious by actions of defender and QB the face mask was grabbed. and the Ref right there, but I guess he was directly behind and maybe didn't want to throw flag if he didn't actually see hand on Facemask?
I thought it was pretty clever of McVay to mask the availability and eventual play production of Nacua. Nobody expected him to play last night and when it was announced he was active, nobody expected full game usage out of him. Hell, he sat on my bench in two fantasy leagues because I, too, never saw that game coming from him.
Both Nacua and Kupp looked like their old self. Kupp's return was somewhat expected. Clearly the Viking defense wasn't prepared for a return of both them.
Side note: the missed facemask call was ridiculous. You can't NOT call something that obvious.
Side note II: the missed facemask call was NOT the reason the Vikings lost, it only sealed the defeat. Their win probability was still highly unlikely even if it had been called. They'd have still been 80 yds away from a TD + 2pt conversion (just to tie it up) with just over a minute left and no timeouts even with the call. Their propensity for terrible defensive penalties on third down and allowing Ram WRs to run free all night contributed a whole lot more to the loss than a missed facemask call while in desperation mode.

No, it wasn't. The effed that up earlier in the game. It would have made a better ending to the game if the Ref, white hat, actually called it, he was looking right at it.
And it's not like MN hasn't had 2 drives that started inside the 5 end up with TD's.
I came into this world KICKING and screaming, naked, and covered in blood that wasn't mine.
I am prepared to go out the same way if I need to.
