Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2019 will be in brackets.

Here's how this works:

Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll.

Simply voting is not enough!

Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 10 guys, a new player is added to the list each day).

Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

Josh Jackson then probably Lucas Patrick.

I completely forgot Cole Madison existed.

I'm not sure who, but it seems like its time to move on from Jackson if he doesn't start to flash.

Patrick seems like he has a very safe roster spot unless Madison knocks him out.

Patrick.

Not sure Burks or Jackson are making the team.

Don't think there is a person left who is a roster lock.

Lucas Patrick and Tim Boyle maybe best best.

Patrick.

Next choice for me is...... ....... ....... ...... .... ..... ...... .... ..... Vernon Scott. I really like his athletic make-up, think he can be a ST ace pretty quickly, and an interesting developmental S behind our main guys.

I agree on Scott’s contributions on STs. Still a bit wary though for my liking. I’ve been going Burks a while now. He should get the first shot at ILB. 3rd year jump needs to happen for his sake.
Cancelled by the forum elites.

well theres 16 more locks, we just don't know who they'll be

I think Patrick and Boyle are, as well as Jackson, Burks, and all the rookies, after them I'am just guessing.

I don't know if there will be a season so maybe there won't be a cutdown day until 13 months from now. But if there is, some of the late round rookies will wind up on the PS. Runyan will make the 53 though.

ehhh I don't know about that, I think teams will still roster down to what is it? 57 players, simply because teams rely on pilfering cut down rejects from other teams to improve there own roster, so I can't see that stopping even if the season is cancelled.

to be honest I don't know much about Runyan other then he's a 6th round tackle, if he's so good I have to ask why he was available that late in the draft, and I have to fall back to the history of this stuff, most often late round tackles become interior lineman in the NFL, which is fine, I'd be happy if he beat out whomever plays RG, thing is it would be a position shift, and if he hasn't played G much then it's a learning curve and will most likely take a year ( with covid even more) to coach up, I think he's a lock more based on being a rookie more then anything he can impress the coaches with this season, I doubt we cut any rookies.
