Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2019 will be in brackets.

Here's how this works:

Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll.

Simply voting is not enough!

Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 10 guys, a new player is added to the list each day).

Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

Burks. Most likely to play a role on D and most likely to play a role on ST.

It's do, or no return ticket for Both Burks and Jackson I'd think, even though both imo are locks, it's flip a coin time, yep Burks wins on a two headed coin

To me it's getting down to roster certainty time. Jon Runyan will make the roster. I could see most other guys getting cut under the right (or, I guess wrong) scenario.

I said Scott was next for me. Actually, I will take the Funyun first, then him.

While they were drafted in the 6th not far from each other, Runyan has been on the radar for a few picks now, Hanson and Stepaniak aren't mentioned at all.

Runyan has the clearest shot at a starting gig, was picked first of them, and has the most upside.

but...

Patrick is pretty much a journeyman, I don't see him as Linsley's replacement if they don't resign him, and his contract ends after this season. Linsley will be 30 before he plays football on his next contract. Hanson certainly has a very real shot of becoming his replacement.

Stepaniak seems like a Runyan hedge. Between the two of them, clearly the goal is to replace Turner at RG.

I almost think Runyan and Hanson have to go back to back.

I but I think Burks should go first. Yeah he's not looked like much, but he's still a likely starter and almost certainly going to be a key ST player. Backup OL aren't real important on ST, even if they are likely to surpass Burks on RTR 2021.

Runyan for me. He is the only lock to make the 53 in this list. Everyone else could get cut although several would wind up on the PS and get to try again next year.

After Runyan I am going back to Boyle. Although it is certainly possible that the Packers only carry 2 QB's, IMO it would be insane to throw Love to the wolves not knowing any of his receivers, not knowing the playbook and not having any preseason experience. Of course this presumes there will be a season of any kind and that the Packers need to cut down to 53. Anyone know if Boyle has PS eligibility?

I feel like with Covid they are gonna have to keep 3 QBs this year. I mean if one gets it, you kinda need someone who has been on the team before to at least be backup right?
