Milwaukee Brewers 2024

Cheesy topics (like the Cheese Curds thread) go here. Topics that aren't Packer related will be moved here as well.

Mmmm.... cheese.

Welp, it looks like the Crew will be playing in the Wild Card round after last night's loss to Philly. They've already lost the season series to the Dodgers and, I believe, last night's loss assures Philly wins their season series, as well.

Oh well. Not the end of the world...but, damn, I was hoping to avoid the Wild Card round altogether.

Still the only team in MLB to NOT have a losing streak greater than 3 games this season.

But, damn, they didn’t make it easy on themselves!

Brew Crew gets the Mets, coming off a double-header today, at home starting tomorrow afternoon in R1. About the best R1 scenario you could ask for. Mets pitching already taxed and now turning right around and facing the Brewers lineup. LFG!

I want to care. But they always disappoint. So I try to not get too invested.

Baseball is so weird. They stretch out a 6 month season and play 162 regular season game, all to rush through the first round of the playoffs in like 1-4 days after the seasons over.

Can’t get too much of a better start than that.

1,2,3, then bunch of hits and up 2-0, 24 pitches already for Severeno.

Thought Murph pulled Peralta an inning too early. Was only went four at 68 pitches. He looked as if he was hitting a groove.

Payamps getting hit hard with every batter. Damn it. Just tied it.

Just a bad fifth inning.

Relievers hit hard. Two misplayed/mishandled balls by the defense. Payamps late to cover first base for an out. Five runs in, all after two outs.

Brewers got brewer’d.

Payamps and Ashby just serving ‘em up.

What a fun game to watch! All the drama and the youngin's coming through in the clutch.

Need a quality start from Tobias Myers tonight. None of that rookie nerves stuff. On to game three!

This is why I don't concern myself with the Brewers.

Great season for Murphy's Crew. Hard to understand how Williams blew the save.

Yeah, you’ve made that clear in several posts.

Not sure why you feel the need to continue to come back to this thread to tell us all, again, you don’t care. And within minutes of the Brewers being ousted, I might add.

It was a huge bummer but king of expected. This team made it a hell of a fun year, and that was NOT expected. Doesn’t make it any easier, but heck of a run.

It was a fun year. Disappointing ending, especially with one of the most reliable guys in baseball giving it up, but truth be told I didn't expect much from the Crew had they got past NY.

Now, next year?

Man, they get Yelich and Woodruff back and these youngsters build on what they had this year...look out.

No offense, but it’s easy to predict what they will do: win the division again, miss out on a bye, and be out in 3 games just like this year. The way MLB is set up, why waste your time rooting for a successful farm team? What a waste of a summer!

Good luck next year.
