Tbh I have kind of just accepted a while ago that Jaire is not built to play a full NFL season, and will deal with some injury or another every year.
It really bites that we got rid of Sul last year; it would have helped make CB not as big of a need going into next FA/draft.

My largest reason I am down on this team is I have lost faith in our front defensive 7.
Quay Walker is a total liability and the front four DLine are just bad. Especially our edge guys.
Opposing offenses will be able to dink and dunk on us as we just get no push or pressure.
Very much see the potential in the offense. But the defense not getting a pass rush and needing to rely on Stokes, Nixon and Bullard absolutely concerns me in playoff football.
I believe this team will be a 6 or 7 seed. Maybe get a Wildcard win but I just don't think they can make a run last unless Jordan hits a hot streak.

It’s a win and that gets us closer to the playoffs. Do we look like world beaters? No, and at this point I don’t care because I want them to have things to work on each week. There are seven weeks to go before the playoffs, an eternity in the NFL. Time to get better and watch our main rivals slip or even destruct. Rookies and the young’uns still have time to step up. It took Bulaga a whole year looking bad, to average, to become a star in the playoffs.

Slaton is a JAG and is a free agent to be. Engabare is, as a starter, meh. Wyatt started the year strong but has not done much since his injury in game 4. Brooks is OK.
LVN is almost unplayable at this time. As for UDFAs Cox and Mosby, who knows.
McDuffie and Wilson are both limited and not young.
Cooper is promising and I guess there is still hope for Hopper given that he has not played at all so far.
That Gary, LVN, Clark, Wyatt, and Q. Walker are all 1st round picks who are underperforming is really depressing.
LVN is not unplayable, but he is a JAG.

Just watched the replay - what a game by Watson. That last catch was ridiculously good!
Y'all remember old Packer video of Holmgren telling Favre "no more rocket balls"? That always makes me smile, anyway that throw by Love with around 12 minutes left in the 2nd quarter to Watson was an absolute rocket ball. Watson settled between zone defenders and Love saw him a little late and just uncorked it (fairly tight window) right in the numbers.
Plays like that make me think we are going to be unstoppable and then he threw a fairly ugly pick.
He has had his share of big time (WOW) throws this year only to make a fairly ugly mistake in the same game. Need to find that happy medium.

just an observation, our DL seems tasked with contain foremost, which translates to not giving up the gap assignments, which allows OL to get a good grip/hold, which means there already behind the 8 ball attempting to rush the QB, when Hafley turns them lose we get pressures and sacks.
half our games have been against RPO style QB's, one of the best yesterday, what we are not getting is great support from second level lbers, it's been a &%$@ show, all year we've watched as they over commit to the wrong gaps, are blocked as they attempt to recover, and the result is a big gain because they were out of position to make a stop, as fans we blame the players, just maybe it's a coaching issue

I give him his due, especially so given my recent commentary over him being unable to consistently come down with the tough catches. He certainly proved me wrong, at least for a day.

What's actually been forgotten ALL the sacks AR took while doing that. Love is taking only one sack per game this season, and it's not like the OL has been 100% healthy and all time great.
I watched a front 7 that attacked Caleb Williams yesterday. Our guys attacked and just simply lost outside of the 2 plays on that final drive. Rashan Gary has absolutely disappeared.

CHICAGO – Rich Bisaccia issued the challenge earlier this week and Karl Brooks was bound and determined to meet it.
Leading up to Sunday's game against Chicago, the Packers' special teams coordinator saw a potential gap in the Bears' field goal protection on film and relayed that to Brooks and the rest of Green Bay's blocking unit.
It turned out to be a game-saving revelation. With the game on the line, Brooks charged, raised his left hand and got his middle finger on Cairo Santos' attempt at a game-winning 46-yard field goal to preserve a 20-19 Packers victory as time expired.
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, it was the second time the Packers blocked a field goal on the final play of a game. The other was nearly 85 years ago during a 7-6 win over the Cleveland Rams on Nov. 26, 1939.
"Rich challenged us to get a block, so I took it personally," said Brooks. "I wanted to go out there and get that block. I wanted to do that for Coach Rich."
It also was the first time since the 1970 merger the Packers blocked a field goal with under a minute remaining in the fourth quarter or later, per Elias.
An 11-year veteran, Santos had missed only one field goal and one extra point all season coming into Sunday, but the Packers saw some openings at the guard position in the field-goal protection.
Bisaccia made Brooks and fellow defensive lineman T.J. Slaton aware of that potential opportunity and challenged the two to seize it. Santos made two field goals, from 53 and 27 yards, and an extra point, but Green Bay kept grinding away at it.
Asked what was going through his mind when Santos lined up for the potential game-winner, defensive lineman Kenny Clark said simply: "That we were going to block it."
Why?
"We talked about T.J. or K.B. blocking the kick all week," Clark said. "They've got holes in their field goal protection and a couple of them they got close. So, we've been talking about that all week. It was a problem, so, Coach Rich has been telling them all week and we ended up getting one."
