^ Cooper is such a blast to watch...what a great pick for this defense and I love that he got jersey # 56

IT. IS. TIME
Seahawks forums are blowing up over losing their home field advantage. Boom years are over, and the Seahags are no longer the toast of the town - Tons of fair weather fans now donning KC and 49ers gear and selling their tickets...
Also, their those Nickelodeon slime uniforms are getting a well-deserved beating.
Couldn't happen to a nicer team

Yeah, it was just fine. Lot of credit to LafFleur and the O. Open WRs all over, good protection, good blitz pickup.
He mostly protected the ball, as Lupe said, if Seattle defenders could turn around, several of those underthrows were interceptable.
But didn’t make any big mistake, which when the rest of the team is playing great, works. But just left a lot out there. Just could have had like. 25-30 for 400 and 4 kind of night if he was dropping dimes.

I remember the joke in 2012 was about the glut of fair weather Seahawks fans that came out of the wood work. There were like 9 Seahawks fans in the Alexander/Hasselback/Holmgren era.salmar80 wrote: ↑17 Dec 2024 16:26Seahawks forums are blowing up over losing their home field advantage. That's when the relationship between the Packers and Hawks was pretty good. Then Carrol came in won some bullsh*t games and we had to endure some prissy coffee shack hippies be a loud mouth about it for 5 years.
Absolutely hated that team.
Another thing I noticed during my 2nd watch was when they panned the fans...the overwhelming predominant jerseys fans wore were the 90's style jerseys.

I can't remember if it was 2015, 2016, or 2017 that they we went to the game in Lambeau, but their fans were SOOO obnoxious. Starting fights in the stands and in the bars...go pak go wrote: ↑18 Dec 2024 08:46I remember the joke in 2012 was about the glut of fair weather Seahawks fans that came out of the wood work. That can't be true. All I have heard in the media for two decades is how tolerant people from the west coast are.
We are far enough removed from those teams that I don't really hate the Seahawks anymore. I also like Geno Smith and have been low-key pulling for him.
But at the time, yeah, I despised those MFers. What did it for me was GDT at footballsfuture, first game against them after the Fail Mary, there were naturally a lot of joke posts about how bad of a call that was, and that we hoped for a different outcome this time.
Then the Seahawks fans came in one by one with their replies telling us how we "need to get over it." I wasn't actually bitter about the Fail Mary but they retroactively made me bitter about it, and I proceeded to hold a grudge against them for a while.

I'm starting to view the Pete Carroll Seahawks as a different franchise. Agreed. I got no beef with this team just like I didn't have a beef with the Holmgren team.Labrev wrote: ↑18 Dec 2024 10:23We are far enough removed from those teams that I don't really hate the Seahawks anymore. Ah the 2008 Seattle Seahawks. Those were the days of Patrick Kearney, correct? The guy who hooked electrical wires up to his nipples before every game?
Cowboy up.
Another guy who is turning heads is TJ Slaton. He is playing his best ball of his career IMO this past month or so.
