This. Don't get me wrong, Kupp is not that far off. He was great this year. But Davante still gets the edge as better.
When I look beyond the stats I see a guy that is a much better blocker than davante, in a scheme that asks him to block (like ours). I also see a guy who cant be stopped even when the opposing team knows Stafford wants to get him the ball (end of TB game). I also see a receiver that produces in the biggest games. If Adams played like Kupp in against SF, The packers win that game. I also dont see how you look beyond the stats, he dominated every aspect of the stats...the Rams have a very diverse offense and Kupp still rose to the top. I love Davante and think he probably 2 at worst 3rd best in league, but I think the super bowl MVP is the top of the class in 2021.
A rare time this year we agree.

I'm really big on stepping up when the moment is huge. Adams dropped the easy TD in 2020. Adams disappeared after the first drive against SF. Kupp stepped up every time they needed him to this year. I can't not notice that.
:beer2: :beer2: :beer2: :beer2:

I think its indisputable this year. Happy we have something to agree on. I like debating with you on my side from time to time! :)

Expectations are higher in Titletown. Bart Starr won the 5 NFL championships. Winning 2 championships over the past 54 years doesn't generally cut it for Packers fans that were around for the Glory Years ...... regardless of who is playing QB or running the front office or Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, etc. for the 13 time champion Green Bay Packers. :aok:

Some whispers going around that McVay might really be done and the Rams might be in the process hiring O'Connell leaving the Vikings high and dry.

The fact the Vikings still haven't announced the hiring this late already is certainly a lot of smoke to that fire.

That's interesting. I assumed the O'Connell hiring was a done deal.

In principle only if he was still coaching the Rams.

But if you all of a sudden find out you might get to coach the reigning super bowl champions, the team you just coached. That might grab your ear.

Holy &%$@, this would rock. O'Connell actually seems like a good candidate so if the Vikes misd out this late in the game... *chef kiss*

And the rams have interviewed how many minority candidates?

Looks like we won't be in contention to play the Thursday night opener.

Packers do play the Rams, but at home.

Leroy Butler is finally in.

ah nuts, seems like an actually good hire by them. And the McVay tree has turned out to be legit.

Kind of interesting, though, O'Connell doesn't have much experience with him and was not involved in any of the other staffs (no experience with Shanahan, LaFleur, Taylor, etc.)

O'Connell was pretty unceremoniously kicked out of Washington and was hired in LA as OC. He has only been with McVay for two seasons.
