I am 100% sure Clark won’t play. I’m about 75% Adams doesn’t.
Cool speculation, bro; way to make it sound like evidence with numbers.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑24 Sep 2020 08:05I am 100% sure Clark won’t play. I’m about 75% Adams doesn’t.
Not sure I would handicap any differently. I don't know why we didn't IR Clark, but I don't expect to see him until after The Bye. As for Adams, I think he has a better chance if you believe the "he wanted to go back in" crowd, but if he doesn't practice at all this week, I think it will be a foregone conclusion that they hold him out.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑24 Sep 2020 08:13Cool speculation, bro; way to make it sound like evidence with numbers.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑24 Sep 2020 08:05I am 100% sure Clark won’t play. I think Adams will play; I think Clark is unknown, and I don't see any reason to think we know.NCF wrote: ↑24 Sep 2020 08:32Not sure I would handicap any differently. Like you said, Clark wasn't IRed, so they didn't rule out a return before the bye. That sounds like the same rationale the Broncos are using with Lock--he might be ready in 2 weeks, he might be ready in 6, but IR doesn't give him a chance even. So they left it open, and we'll see.
I don't think Adams' issue is anything more than a little rest and stretching, and so they're making sure he's resting it and stretching
Exactly - IDGAF about a road game without fans, other than the fact that we are on turf and not grass (but I don't think that makes much difference anyways with this team).
Also why it's silly to give any worry about #1 seed this year. Even if there are fans in January....we are looking at likely 1/3 capacity at maximum.kyle.mccarroll wrote: ↑24 Sep 2020 11:49Exactly - IDGAF about a road game without fans, other than the fact that we are on turf and not grass (but I don't think that makes much difference anyways with this team).
The "only one team per conference gets a bye" advantage is pretty appealing, though. I never much cared about the home/away aspect between the 1 and 2 seeds, but I always cared about that free pass to the divisional round.
No travel time required. We are clearly a running team which favors the cold. Possible, though unlikely, still possible that there will be fans by January. We don’t have to play on a field we aren’t used to.go pak go wrote: ↑24 Sep 2020 12:19Also why it's silly to give any worry about #1 seed this year. It is speculation. I never tried to put any evidence to it. I just know how are medical staff does things. huge, so much of what we do on offense, all our motion pre snap comes from Aarons cadence, hand signals, all of that can be much harder with a loud stadium, there is a saying that the crowd is the 12th man/player on defense, I agree.kyle.mccarroll wrote: ↑24 Sep 2020 11:49Exactly - IDGAF about a road game without fans, other than the fact that we are on turf and not grass (but I don't think that makes much difference anyways with this team).
I would very much prefer, especially with such an early bye week, to get an extra one and not have to play anybody vs. playing an above average to good team.
But do you know for 100% certainty?lupedafiasco wrote: ↑24 Sep 2020 12:33It is speculation. I never tried to put any evidence to it. I just know how are medical staff does things.
