Good lord the Lions have had our number lately.

2015 - 1-1. Split. Took a Miracle throw to split
2016 - 2-0. Swept em
2017 - 0-2.
2018 - 0-2.
2019 - 2-0. But led for 0:00 combined both games.
Let me make you feel a little bit better.

Holmgren + Favre = 8-0
Rhodes + Favre = 1-0
Sherman + Favre = 6-0
McCarthy + Favre = 2-0
McCarthy + Rodgers = 8-1 (stupid Crosby)
LaFleur + Rodgers = 1-0

McCarthy + Hundley = 0-1
Philbin + Rodgers/Kizer = 0-1
The top has 5 losses and the bottom has 3.

What gives?
The top includes games played in Detroit. I just broke down the Wisconsin record since 1992.

Anyone want to guess who will be the first Packer to do a Lambeau Leap without any fans? 8-)
Matt LaFleur

these are from PackersWire

– LaFleur revealed that senior analyst Butch Barry, who was added to the staff this offseason, is helping the defensive line room this year. His background in coaching is the offensive line. Barry’s job is to provide a layer of perspective from the offensive side for the defensive line.
“He’s been a huge asset for our defensive staff.”

– LaFleur called receiver Allen Lazard the “enforcer” in the run game for the Packers offense.
“Defensive backs know where he is at all times because he’s going to try and punish you.”

The Green Bay Packers will have one more practice inside Lambeau Field before Sunday’s home opener against the Detroit Lions.

BIlly Turner and Lucas Patrick both full participants

Wonder how the line will shake out if them two, Jenkins and Wagner are all a full go.

Looks like the OLine will be back at full Lane-less strength; a little worrisome yesterday have 4 OGs on the list, but the other three all back to full participants.

Shame about Deguara taking a step back.

Also weird that they haven't put Lane on IR yet.

Wouldn't you want to give Wagner a shot vs his former team mates ? He'd have a lot of experience practicing against them

I guess that would be my preferred given we paid Wagner starter money and Jenkins is already playing at an all-pro level. Hate to put that overpaid RTO on the bench, move your guard to tackle, and throw in a 27 year old vet with a low ceiling and paid absolutely not starter money. But that's not to say Bak, Patrick, Linsley, Turner, Jenkins isn't our best lineup.

Or possibly even Patrick at RG and Turner at RT.

Too many combos, nice to have I guess, but wish it was established.

So what are the options here?

Bakh - Jenkins - Linsley - Turner - Wagner
Bakh - Patrick - Linsley - Turner - Jenkins
Bakh - Jenkins - Linsley - Patrick - Turner

and the possibility of Runyan in all the spots Turner is listed?

If we're going for "best five," as MLF always puts it, I have to think that's Wagner and Turner on the field for option 1

I think Wagner is healthier and in better football shape than Turner. He might even be a better RT

...8 OL active on Sunday, so take those 5 + Turner, Runyan... ? Nijman ?

from packers.com

"The Packers enter Week 2 on a six-game regular season win streak, the longest current streak in the NFC.
Green Bay has won seven straight home openers (2013-19).

"Since 2007, the Packers are 12-1 in their first game of the season at Lambeau Field."

I would like to see the Packers come out of the huddle, get to the line and snap the dang ball, so sick of seeing the play clock getting down to 2 seconds or less every dang play.

But why would Patrick start at RG over Turner? He was healthy for almost all of camp. If he's healthy enough to play, they won't hold him out of the starting lineup just for fun

Well, duh, it wouldn’t be for fun. Would be the staff thinks he is currently better. I don’t think anyone is expecting it, but it certainly seems a possibility.

The loss came to the hands of the 2012 San Francisco 49ers.

The infamous game that made Greg Jennings hate the Packers and hate Aaron Rodgers.

Ya know, with the Vikings, then the banged up Lions... plus the Falcons in week 4; we basically only play one NFL secondary before the week 5 bye.
