Gute obviously could not pass him up. If you think you got a franchise QB I guess you take him. Not a fan of the pick, but I like what I know of Love.

Rodgers only has two more years of signing bonus proration left on his contract after this year at $11.5 million a piece. They can get rid of him in two years and be in good shape from a cap standpoint.

I have to think that Guty was locked on to him, that if he was going to be available near our pick that they’d go all in for him. Why else bother? That said, I didn’t want this guy in the first because I wanted Queen or Mims. But he is a guy who can be a very good player and even possibly elite. Wh...
